Whats with the rating counts?

For awhile all of them switched to .'s when you hovered over them.
Now some are back to reading the amount, while others give an average
(5 average)

are we experimenting?

It depends on where you put your mouse. If you hover the mouse over the right end of the scale, it gives you the number of ratings. Put it over the middle, and it gives you that "." you were talking about. Put it at the far left end, and you get the average.

Yeah, you have me to thank (or hate) for this coming about :stoned:

I can't say enough how totally cool it looks with the dots in a text browser :laugh:

... But more importantly, it saves a bit of bandwidth for the shroomery, and that is good, too :smile:

Actually I don't care how beautiful those dots look in a text-based web browser besides this doesn't save too much bandwidth either. If it was up to me, I'd certainly change things back as they were.

It doesn't? No way to tell unless you've seen the server logs and know how often the ratings are shown per day... And what you call "too much" bandwidth, too.

I'm pretty sure that there are enough page loads per day that it certainly make some impact over the month.
