i've talked to a quite a few people who would like to know who rates them high or low. this would show what immature members we have here that just go around rating people lower, hurting their credibility. on the other hand it shows what users rated you high so therefore you could ask why and possibly further help them if they had ?'s, etc.
i dunno - kinda like a adopt a newbie or mentor thing???

just some thoughts at 2:30 in the morning!!!

I would acually be in favor of that, I had 5 stars before the server crashed last week and I have only had a 2 star rating since then.
I was thinking the same thing, people just going around giving low ratings.

Perhaps if you went down in stars based on something else ... if no one gives you a star in awhile, then you go down in stars. If someone rates you below what you already have, it doesn't count. If someone rates above you, it counts towards and upgrade. After so many stars given above your current star level, you go up ...

For more reasons than one I find that the new rating system is irrelative. I dont think it is fair to be judge on such a thing. I could have one star (mushroom) for all I care.

Nah poppy, it doesn't mean shit... for every person who tries to accurately rate there's at least one other asshole who's gonna screw it up just because they can, or because they've got personal issues with that person, or because they're a rival vendor, etc...

I think it oughta go, IMHO its pretty useless. Mostly harmless too though, I s'pose.
