No offensie. We really find your product impressive, and we do wish that the "money was there". However, why are you only offering the discount via paypal? Dosent that hook up directly with people's checking/saveings account? (not the method payment many of us prefer)
Once again, many of us are totaly impressed by the product and are awaiting reviews. Keep up the good "inventing"!

Wow $160 for a terrarium for cakes! What a deal! I thought a huge rubbermaid twice the size of that for $3 was a good deal but boy was I wrong! For someone who is only going to do cakes that is an excellent deal!!!!!
And by the way is the top of the hydro-pod the top of that vegetable wash container that comes with "fit" (the ever so useful vegetable wash).

The dome is much larger than the Fit dome. I know because I have both. I was trying to make my own similar system from a Fit vegetable washer before the hydrapod came out.
The hydrapod may not look like much on the outside but it is deceptively well designed. It looks like a bucket full of rocks with a dome on top but in reality there is an inner bucket with a slick flood drain system in addition to an aerator. It uses those hydroponic growrocks, which are super absorbtive light claylike pellets. This thing is setup to give constant air exchange with out sacrificing humidity.
I am just testing it out now, but I am very impressed so far. It is far superior to a static cheapo rubbermaid box with perlite humidification. I feel it will be ideal for fruiting the more sensitive species that can't take the stagnet air of a passive system such as panaeolus species and mexicana. It should also reduce if not eliminate contamination on cubensis cakes after birthing due to the air exchange. A newbies dream.
Its not a piece of overpriced junk like the mushroommagic.com soul food machine. I don't think its overpriced at all. I wouldn't build them myself to sell at that price. I think once a few people start posting their results, the hydrapod will become the standard style of grow chamber for automated environmental control and hands off growing.

it looks like a nice system but i personaly think its overpriced, mcman you cool n shit but 160 dollars US, i dont think all those parts cost that much, also im from canada so 160 is like
$275+. so its not worth it 4 me.,
im telling you, lower your price and you will sell a lot more and make even more profit.

I know that the future is hard to predict, and you don't know if you'll be selling these hydra-pods then, but I just wanted to know if you think you'll still be interested in growing mushrooms, and selling equiptment to help others grow.
Also, are there any pics of cakes growing in the pod? I'd love to see some results...
