i just harvested the first flush of shrooms from a PF style cake. there were at least 6 shrooms 3 inches long with 1/2 inch diameter caps, plus some smaller aborts and short shrooms. after drying these out, im left with 0.8 grams. is this normal? the shrooms are tiny as hell, crispy fritter lookin things. worms on the sidewalk in the sun look better. i had heard of people getting 60 dried grams from three flushes. i dont think ill get that. im using cubensis strains, B+ and Mexi-Cub from THE. can anyone tell me if this is an average flush?

Yeah, that sounds about right for a pf style cake. If your looking to increase your yields, read up about casing.

60 dried grams from 3 flushes, from 1 PF style 1/2 pint cake? Say whaaaat?! I've never heard of such a feat, although if that is true, it is quite impressive. .8 grams from your first flush is about right, for one cake. Those stating 60 dried grams have most likely gotten it from multiple cakes (like 12-20 or so). When all is said and done, expect enough dried material for one good dose, from 1 cake.
But I wouldn't quote me on that.

SOS is a casing method. As you did not case, you can't expect to get the same yields. The good news is that your cakes will probably last longer than a casing would, so you may very well be able to get mroe flushes than one would on a casing.
