Shrooms Growing On Side of MycoBag

Hey all I have two friuting myco bags w/treasure coast. Anyway the mycelium has grown up the sides and now the mushies are pinning off of that not the actual "cake" I have about 7-10 pins in each bag and they are growing at a rapid rate. My question is: will the sides of the bag be able to support the mushies as they grow larger? And has anyone had this happen if so what was the outcome.

The mycelium will carry the water and nutrients to where the pins are forming, so that wouldn't be the problem. I would think that once the mushrooms got heavier they would weigh down the bag, or even separate the mycelium from where it had attached itself to the bag. There really isn't anything solid for the mycelium to grip on to, nothing to grow into, just a somewhat smooth surface. Interesting that the mycelium would spread to the plastic though. Got any pictures?

dude it will be fine. same thing happened to mine... all on the sides none on the cake. I got some real monsters. It can support it just fine.

Yeah It just caught me off gaurd...but those bags are pinning like crazy. What were your guys yeilds off of side grown mycobag shrooms?

ugh hehe i dont know yet... they are still going... ive only picked one shroom off of there so far. It was pretty big. One of my bag has 7 pins on the sides other has 3, other one is just starting has like 2-3. how many does yours have and what size?

In bag "a" I have 11 pins one is about 2inches another is about 1inch and the rest are really small maby 2mm-1cm for the rest. In bag "b" I have 7 pins one inch is the biggest and the rest range from 2mm-1cm, how long does is take for these babies to mature...I'd really like to try em' out soon!

Also I've had some blueing in the bags from about 90% colonization on, it started in small spots and has kinda "spread" around but it's definatly blue has anyone else had this happen?
