Project Shroom Grow

Well i'm a total newbie to shroom growing and wanted to document my project. I know some of you could care less but i plan on doing it anyway.

I baked the vermiculite and brf before i put it in the jars. I then put the jars in a pot and boiled the water for 45 minutes making sure no water got inside the jars. Waited till everything cooled and then sprayed lysol in my bathroom since thats the smallest room with no air movement. I waited for that to settle and then added the spores to the jars. I added a little more than 1 cc to a couple jars on accident. Hoepfully that will not screw up things. I covered each jar with two layers of tin foil and taped the edges to the jar. They are currently in a container with a couple of towels over them so no sunlight eaches into it. I have the container on my floor so the sunlight can warm it up to 80 degrees.

Well i will keep you all posted of my success/failure. I'm hoping i have a good rate of success with very little or no contams. I orginally was going to use Shroom Wizards tek but i haven't found one good post dealing with that guy and his tek.

Sounds very good.

I would advise using the PF tek. It's what I used to get started. If for no other reason--It'll get you prints, that will get you syringes, that will get you another chance to experiment without having to buy a print or syringe. God damn the pusherman!!

LOL.

Once the sides are fully colonized and the bottoms are beginning, take the tape off the tops, pop them over with a slight whack, and let the colonization complete.

After that. . . it's fruitin' time.
