Cutting / breaking shrooms to dry?

Okay I dont care what so ever how my shrooms look. So I split the shroom Im drying in half and cut it open as well. Does this hurt or change potentcy at all? The things are whitish blueing on the inside from bruising. Does bruising in anyway effect potency? I hope Im making sense. thanks

They should dry faster cutt up in small chunks... the only problem with this is if one has any intention off sharing these with friends.... it would be harder to reconize them (minus any blue briusing) for what they were.
