Color of shroom & Drying Question

after 3 months of nothing i am now getting some great shrooms and have learned what my mistakes are. i am growing b+ right now

as the shrooms get bigger, (longer) they start to become a lil off white towards the head, (not as white as they are at the base) is this ok (normal)?

and also. they're going to be ready to pick soon, I don't want to eat for about 2 weeks after i pick them. what is the easiest way to dry them and then how should i store them? thanks

also is it dangerous to eat fresh shrooms? one time i got really sick for a week after eating a fresh pcsa, but i ate my fresn b+ to test them out and i was fine n they were great. are they more potent fresh?

i been reading up more on drying the little buddies ....
Most of said it was best to leave out infront of a small fan for 24 ( don't let them touch each other )
then Take a rubbermaid container put a birdscreen in the bottom ... leave enough room for the water to sit ..
put drierite (www.drierite.com) are damp*rid (which is found at your local wal-mart ) on that birdscreen ...
then put anothe birdscreen in about a inch away from the drierite birdscreen ... but your babys on the top birdscreen and close the lid ...
let it sit till it's cracker dry ... and i bet the best way to do that is to find the biggest one and break it ...

Remember i'm just a newbie ... this is all that i have read of the shroomery .....
