Harvest---drying question

I just pulled my first harvest. I'm going to set up a drying chamber w/ dessicant, but until I get some, can I dry them another way (w/o losing potency?). Like a fan, etc?

Yep. Just use the setup you're using with the dessicant but blow a fan at it.

I wish I had a Kryptonite cross, because then I could keep both Dracula AND Superman away.

I put a fan on it's back on top of a cooler so it blows upwards. then I got a square of wire screen and set it on the fan and put the mushies on it, set on low for a day to dry the outer layer. then put it in desicant chamber.

I have always had faster drying times by not using the desicant. I just set mine out on the table and turn them over every 12 hours or so in a well ventilated room. Never had any potency loss and they are completly dry in about 48 hours. I know it's ghetto but it always works for me.

Ya, kaymans way works for me too but if you have a plane to catch, you can dry quickly and safely using the Hurricane Tek:

Turn the oven on to low, about 100 degrees. Set the shrooms on a sheet of paper on the middle rack. Leave oven door open and place fan on it so it blows on shrooms. The combination of warm air and air movement will dry them out in just a couple hours.

And NO, this is NOT anywheres NEAR hot enough to damage the psilocin. With the door open and the fan blowing, the shrooms are being subjected to maybe 80 degrees. This tek works, I've tested it many times.
