There is small loss of potency after drying but no big deal.

why are you trying to dry the whole shitload at once? why not split it up? also, they have a small lose in potency, it matter how you dry them, stay away from anything involving heat...

Oh I know about the whole heat thing that destroys the active compounds found in the flesh. But My Question was if it took it a while to dry that it truned dark if it still had some decent amount of potiency. But the question was answered well.

you'll get better results with your desicant if you pre-dry in front of a fan breeze. splitting larger ones helps as well.

Did you bake the crap out of the dessicant before using it? It's damp out of the bag, reducing it's efficiency...
