drying question, asap

question for all the experts...
i know there's a lot of discussion about how temperature affects the potency of mushrooms during drying, so i am wondering how it will affect mine...ill explain my set up and if anyone can tell me if this will be sufficient, please let me know.
im very limited on resources, so i was thinking i would lay out the mushrooms in between two layers of paper towels and place them on top of a table directly level with the window A/C unit and make sure the vent is directed towards the shrooms, turning them every 6 or so hours.
the idea is that since it's summer time and my a/c unit is pretty much always on, the shrooms will get easy access to flowing dry air...my question is will the consistent cold air or fan air affect the potency of the mushrooms and how much or how long of this will it take to completely dry them?
i know it's a lot, but im a first time harvester and i'm limited on resources...any help would be appreciated...thanks!

p.s. if this method seems ridiculous, im open to suggestions. if someone has a really easy and average way to dry them without dessicant using household items, that would be great...thanks!

> how much or how long of this will it take to completely dry them? It should go fairly fast, 1 day perhaps.
Omit the paper tovels, let the air hit the shrooms directly.

That way will work fine as long as the air is dry. They will prolly dry overnight. Take a trip to the Spore Lab @:

If you are going to store them, make sure they are cracker dry before putting them in your plastic bag or container.

since this is my first time im gonna throw another q at ya...ive read that mycelium on the shrooms after they start growing is a sign of low humidity...the lower halves of the stalks are fuzzy white and then sorta turn into a bone color without the fuzz as it gets closer to the maturing caps, is that fuzzy white stuff bad or a sign of something im doing wrong? oh...i just harvested the first fruits of my labor (or lack thereof)...it measures at 6".
thanks again...

Your fine. The fuzz is a beautiful thing. It's part of the natural order. Wild shrooms have it too! Enjoy.
BTW-I used to think it was a humidity aspect myself, but found out otherwise.

if its a swamp cooler i wouldnt think it would work too well because my swamp cooler is always on and it raises the humidity in my house alot (IMO)
