You should be ok as long as there is no heat, just air movement. Heat will degrade the psilocybin/psilocin in the mushroom.

i just string mine up in front of a fan, and then after a day or two into a dessicant chamber..
you can speed it up even more if you cut the stem in half(cut the bottom and gently pull it apart, sometimes a little extra cut to separate the cap is necessary)..

i simply recommend you to dry your little friends on a paper towel (kitchen standard) covered with a dark coloured t-shirt -> but be make sure that there's enough space between towel and shirt in order let the air circulate!

this method worked very well for me - after 4 days or sometimes one or two more you got nice and crispy dried friends making you happy whenever you want to...

Hey there...

This topic of "can you use a food dehydrator to dry shrooms" seems to come up a lot... search the message boards for "dehydrator" and you'll get more questions and answers on the topic than you can handle...

In short, though... yes, food dehydrators can be used to dry shrooms, just keep the heat minimal. Or, disconnect the heating element -- even better.

You still might need to let them chill in a dessicant chamber for a day or two after dehydrating to get them "cracker-dry," however.
