What's the best drying method?

My friend was planning on using some Driorite, or other desiccant, in a sealed tupperware type container. However, some people ( http://www.mycotopia.net/teks/scgg.html ) believe that air drying, with moving air, is the best method.
Since Psilocin (.60 %, which is half of the psychoactive chem. amount, the rest being Psilocybin @ .63%) oxidizes, wouldn't air drying dramatically effect potency (by almost 1/2 if all the psilocin oxidizes)?
Would it be feasable to simply cover the shroom completely in an edible salt (you can do this with meat, but I'm not sure about fungus) to dry them completely without oxidation?
Also, I've seen it recommended that one should cut the shrooms in half, or into quarters, to increase the surface area; which decreases the time needed to dry them. This would cause more psilocin oxidation too, right?
My friend was thinking of maybe buying one of those suction-seal devices. If he put desiccant in a bag, then a layer of cloth, then the shrooms, and then used suction to rid the bag completely of air, would this work best? He's assuming in this scenario that without any air, the only oxidation of psilocin that could occur would be from the moisture that's already in the mushroom tissue; which can't be avoided regardless of the mehtod of drying.
What do your friends do to dry their mushies? Please, I'm only looking for replies from people whose friends have actually dried them (I've ready everything, I'm simply wondering what your friends have found, in their own practices, to be the best).

I've found fan drying to be best. Skip the dessicant and all that. Just put em in front of a fan and in a day or two they're completely dry. You may want to construct some sort of box with a suspended screen in it that holds the shrooms. Point the fan down in the box. That way the shrooms are being dried on all sides at the same time. Like a whirlwind. They lose almost no potency. I don't know about the salt thing. I've always had great success with just a fan. And don't use any heat at all. Take care...

drying certainly doesn't seem "advanced" to me, no matter how you do it.
That aside, I think you're beating a dead horse. A shroom that is dried without heat in a couple of days looses very little potency, regardless of the theories behind oxidation etc.
Simple test, eat fresh shrooms. wait a few days. Eat comparable amount in weight of dried shrooms. Which was stronger? Very few people could really tell a difference in a blind Pepsi Challenge.
That being said, a fan in a dessicator box works great, especially in humid areas.
BTW, shrooms dried and stored in an atmosphere of CO2 were indistinguishable from regular dried shrooms by unknowing guinnea pigs.

PM me with any cultivation questions.
I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.

What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation.
