I think a high FAE requirement is a good call based on the consistent overlay everyone’s experiencing.

I just received a culture of zinnii that I’ll be sending to grain to join in on this adventure.

What kind of spawn to sub ratios have yall been using? I’ve read through and see Cvg with and without poo being used but I didn’t see any ratios mentioned.

What kind of ambient temps are yall growing in? Based on the pseudoaztecorum and true atalensis lineage of this hybrid, I’m thinking the warmer the better. Checking out sworks’ photos it looks like overlay and blobbing are par for course, even when grown on a substrate level cut bag

Spawned it today at a 1:2 ratio, with a thin top layer to cover the grain. The coir was on the slightly drier side of field capacity but still ok. I'd rather it be dryer then too wet since I can add water if needed by bottom watering. The spawn did smell like mushrooms but slightly different in a good way. Maybe more button mushroom then cube mushroom spawn.

I also got 2 more fruits popping up on the uncased side so I don't think casing makes a difference, but that's my observation with little proof.
