I'd suggest upping the second dose to maybe 0.7 instead but honestly if your tolerance is low maybe you wanna start even lower haha. My normal dosage is 0.25 + 0.50 + 1g and maybe even more if I'm feeling frisky and this gives me a hell of a strong trip but I'm still present and able to converse with my gf even though I occasionally melt and become the room

And like Kloakk said you're growing HVC, you'd know if it was Tres Soles since those took me 8 weeks from pins to harvest are they worth the wait? Definitely. If you want to get on these bastards I'll have prints as soon as the next flush has started dropping spores!


Also it's nice to see someone else who also has this super easy experience with Semps, mine has been incredible and these have been the easiest mushrooms I've ever grown but many seem to go through hell to get these going but for me they just wanna grow so I guess I've been lucky

You get an incredibly smooth ride throughout the entire trip without any noticeable come up which improves my experience by miles because 0.5g will give me a heavy come up so I'll have to lay down for 2h and catch my breath then I won't do any more but 0.25g is much more manageable to start with and the second dose can be increased quite heavily because the come up is barely noticeable since you "rewired" on a lower dose, same goes for the rest of the doses + you get to trip for a much longer time which gives me a longer lasting afterglow the next week too.

Many people prefer one heavy dose but I definitely recommend trying this method to see what you prefer. It does take more mushrooms though but that doesn't matter when you've got more Shrooms than you can eat

Can you tell me more about how or why you split the dosing? The last time I researched this, I concluded that redosing works only in a very limited time and it may be best to take the full dose once. How long do you wait between doses? Any other tips or nuances?

Edit: oh.. So can you get a stronger trip or just a smoother trip?

My first 3 grows finished up today. Three shoeboxes for a total of 105g dry.

These were the tiniest fruits out of the bunch, but this is probably the best flush
I have ever had.

I honestly don't know, man. I'm not that good. I made up this story in my head that it's bc I live
in a magical shroom paradise I'm at 7000 ft. and my environment is sorta similar to
the native environment for these guys.

I'm growing on canary seed with CV+ - 10ml True Organic, 10ml Jackpot. 1:4 ratio spawn/sub. I compress the shit out of the sub.
One thing is that I don't do a top layer and I am casing as soon as the surface is colonized (about a week after spawn).

Hmm maybe it's the nutrients? Never thought of trying that but man now I'm curious otherwise I do the same except with a top layer and a slightly tighter spawn ratio at around 1:2- 1:3.

Don't be silly bro, you know it means Hoogshagenii Var Convexa from back in 1983 when they mistook it for a Convex version of Hoogshagenii right? It was named Semperviva in 1958 then renamed Hoogshagenii Var Convexa in 1983 then got the subtropicalis name in 1995 by Guzman but it wasn't a new name for Semperviva he labeled it as its own species and if I'm not mistaken it was around 2010-2020 that Allan Rockefeller and some others noticed that it's the same species as Semperviva but there is no Hoogshagenii Var Convexa, the name just stuck with that variety.

Didn't you teach me the origin of this a long time ago or is my memory failing me again?

Semperviva (ever living/eternal) is the only acceptable name though, it's too perfect for this mushroom not to use and it's the OG name
