A pretty good analysis imo of tactics we see quite often.

Yea but without our tangents how can we effectively compare trumps crimes to other hate crime.

Lefty Orange Man Bad Thread [Re: vicepope]

Their echo chamber’s got too many voices in it and they dont like it.  But they dont know how not to respond to the opposition.

Perceiving the opposing viewpoint as an example of stereotypical rightwing troglidite chuds who are making their life a living hell, such a moment just cant be ignored.

Even something as innocuous as ‘you have your opinions and I have mine’ can send their teeth gnashing in a murderous rage.

With tangents like 'teeth gnashing murderous rage', it's actually hard to engage with any comparison.

Thats the weird thing, we can point to his tariffs, deregulation, stock trades, cryptocoin stuff and more, but it seems more of a one sided engagement when a lot of the responses are things like, 'no one has a real criticism of trump', 'y'all just have trump derangement syndrome' etc.

Itd be interesting to hear the people who support him outright rather than people who dont want to sound like they do, but deep down really do.

That inhibition is what id like to see dissolved.

Like do any trump supporters think hes helping farmers? How and why?

Lol if you think the Steele Dossier is real, we're done having a conversation. Steele basically came out and said he made it up to slander Trump.

You accuse others of lying and sling stuff like this out? Where did Steele say that?

Not here in the Op-Ed of his account of the matter, where he attempted to set the record straight.

Pointing out comparisons of americas hitler to germanys is not partisan but is good political intelligence and ability to debate.  When true, it is not hyperbole.  It would be more hyperbole to try and hide the comparisons.

I mean, when the shoe fits and we know the outcome from history, hiding it will do no good.  It is not over yet.  It is not the guy saying I love trump but lets try something different that is going to be the communicator that is going to lead.  It is going to be the guy who says we will tear down his reichstag ball room that is going to be the communicator you speak of becoming leaders.

well when 2028 comes around, and we haven't had an american hitler, be sure to help the democrats kill off a bunch of people then blame it on trump. at this point that is more likely than trump actually going about and committing a genocide.

I mean the democrats literally made something a felony AFTER trump did it and then charged him with 34 counts of it and tried to put him in jail for it. Meanwhile, not 3 years prior Hilary Clinton did it and got a 180,000$ slap on the wrist. I would say that is almost as corrupt as a crypto rug pull scheme

We have laws and they were not created by the Democrats to trap Trump or the Republicans. What he did is AKA 'cooking the books'..

"The jurors said they unanimously agreed that Trump falsified business records to conceal a $130,000 hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels to influence the outcome of the 2016 election."

What happened with Hillary: (if this incident is what you mean)

The Clinton/DNC Case:

Paying for opposition research is entirely legal under federal election law. The violation occurred strictly because the campaign and the party mislabeled the purpose of the payment on their mandatory public financial reports, describing it as "legal services" instead of opposition research.

Resolution & Penalty: Settled out of court without admitting wrongdoing. Fines totaled $113,000 ($8,000 for the Clinton campaign; $105,000 for the DNC).

Clinton was fined for falisification of records surrounding the Steele Dossier. You know that Dossier that made up that Trump was a Russian agent. And it was 105,000$ and 8000$, not 180,000$ Trump and Clinton were charged with the EXACT same legal charge. You can argue that paying off a porn star is worse than making up a fake story about how your opponent is Russian intelligence and pees on Russian prostitutes and then get 53 former intelligence service members to sign it, but that's irrelevent to the law. The charge was the same. I would say the making shit up about your political opponent is legally worse, cause it involves slander, whereas paying off a porn star is just that, paying off a porn star.

You are obviously only familiar with the Fox News version of the account. The Steel dossier is not even what prompted the FBI investigation into Trumps campaign! Clinton's campaign deserved punishment for falsely reporting the reason for spending, no doubt. But you are not fairly framing Clinton's actions in this, nor Steele's for that matter. This is but one of the transgressions Dumpty did though, on par with the other falsified documents Trumpty perpetrated. You ignore his willful retention of classified documents, illegal attempts at influencing a state election, illegal attempts at suberverting the counting of the vote through an illegal presentation of his "alternate slate of electors", and yet still claim he was unjustly prosecuted for crimes that were made up? Why are you acting like you are a serious person here engaging in earnest debate then?

Oh, and you can not fairly characterize what Clinton's campaign did with Trumps similar actions. How can you continually make these arguments here like you are the only one acting in good faith. You are repeatedly mischaracterizing, misstating or peddling lies in your attempts to equivocate Trumps and Clintons actions. They are not comparable.

Clinton (most likely someone in here campaign and not her directly but I'm not certain on that) did not attempt to conceal materially important information to influence an election. Research dossiers are often prepared by law firms and in fact THAT IS EXACTLY WHO CLINTON CONTRACTED FOR THE RESEARCH. Money paid to legal services is what the campaign claimed but the law firm then subcontracted it out to an intelligence firm. It is not unreasonable to conclude that was simply an oversight on their part.

But Trumps own lawyer testified that Trump directed him and knew what the purpose was. For a penny pincher who famously fails to pay his bills to personally reimburse his attorney for the $130k, his denial claiming not to know what they money was for is far less plausible than Clinton's campaign mislabeling a payment as legal services when they had contracted for legal services.

FFS dude, stop acting like a victim who just tried to play nice. I wrote an entire paragraph explaining why "your claim to be attempting to find common ground only to be attacked" was a farce. Everyone else who demonstrated similar critiques along with mine were just ignored. Why? Why were all of my previous unassailable take downs of your prior arguments ignored? Is it because to acknowledge that, your continued attempts to garner sympathetic attention would reach such unsubstantiated levels of embarrassment that you could not integrate the level of audacity the dissonance would cause you to incur after that?

Or is it just that you lack the capacity to formulate coherent, rational arguments in the face of truth?

Quit projecting. You are actively crafting your own personal echo chamber over dozens to hundreds of pages in this post alone! Are you even old enough to be on this site without violating TOS?

I'm not convinced that's true. For one, there's enough of them that they can maintain self-sustaining conversations of their own. Also, I'm not convinced they ever shut up for any reason. Across multiple platforms, I see the same dumb-ass CHUD comments turn up whenever certain topics are mentioned. Whether consciously or not, they want us to think that there are legions of them, and they represent the true enlightened majority.

On the other hand, sometimes these "debates" start to resemble drunk people arguing at a party, and one could be forgiven for thinking that some of the "call-outs" sound more like arguments among friends. And I'm not a fan of the "Oh, well, you know, so-and-so, always being a piece of shit but we do have fun sparring" approach. These people aren't my friends, their mental deficiencies and disrespectful assholery certainly aren't my problem, and I wish they would fuck right off.

So, yeah, moving forward, I'm advocating for a policy of "tank their ratings and hit the ignore button" approach. Hopefully that's enough for the casual observer to understand that this counter-culture website about growing drugs isn't, in fact, supportive of alt-right bootlickers who never shut the fuck up and dominate a lot of its traffic.

That's sorta the point for dudes like that.  They don't know or care what's actually happening on the ground.  All they care about is pwning the libs.  Stupid people have been made to feel stupid for so long that they are relishing in their chance for revenge.  A stupid person is in charge, so they feel vindicated every time someone with above average intelligence gets his or her comeuppance in the form of having to tolerate some stupid shit or other going on in government. They will celebrate the destruction of the economy as long as it pisses off the intelligent people.

You can't apply rational adult thought to any of it.  It's about childish "I'll show you" nonsense.

Also…

Tariffs are good for the economy because they force American businesses back home.

That's not happening . It's driving up prices that's all that's happened . It's not even that difficult to see it not happening at all in the next two years , that statement seems out of touch with reality to me .
