I didn’t like Merab for a long time, but he grew on me. I don’t think there is any chance that he loses tonight.

Cory gave it his best. Not sure what else he could have done, maybe working more at Merab's bread basket like O'Malley seemed to have a bit of success there. Cory's awesome but hasn't had much KO power that I recall. His grappling is good but no one does anything to Merab so far.

How about that Jiri fight? Khalil looked great with what he has developed, but Jiri is a sorcerer. I was fully expecting him to do what he did. It's funny the commentary was on about Jiri's looking awkward with his footing and all like something was wrong. He's always like that.

I fell asleep during the Merab fight so I will have to re watch it later.

The Jiri fight was pretty awesome, but it also seems that there is a blueprint for Khalil. The same thing happened in the Pereira fight and he started running out of gas in the third round. It was foolish on his part to not slow things down because he easily won the first two rounds against Jiri.

I expected redemption for Pereira, but I definitely did not expect it to happen like that.

Hmm, I thought he did much better than Sean. Merab shot like 54 times and Cory stopped most of them.

At least Poatan got his revenge. Really dont want to see him vs Jiri again though.

Yes true, Cory kept getting up. Merab is too much of a humper. I'm always hoping more rounded styles will win, but it's also unfair because he's dynamic, never tires, improved standup, can't say he's not entertaining.

I'd like to see some slick jitsu sub him.

See someone with skill and chin like Lacerda pulling repeated armbars from the bottom this weekend and finally getting the tap, I'd like to see sub Merab, not that the bottom may be a good place to be. I was thinking of someone like Fluffy though he's MW.
