I guess you are not interested in reality.
"The contracts favor the fighters and not the promotions" was your original statement and you based your entire argument on semantics of cutting/releasing versus buying someone out of their contract.
The contracts and tactics used by the UFC control and damage fighter's careers. If the UFC wants to get rid of you, they will find a way regardless of how you think sports contracts work on paper.
Back to watching Stephen A. Smith and Sportscenter with you, fella.

Hahahha Steven A Smith thata good one I'll give you that one
I probably agree with you in the broader picture the UFC always finds a way to fuck fighters but what I said about the contracts themselves is true, you don't have to fight the fight on your contract but the UFC is obligated to offer you all of the remaining fights you have left on your contract.
Didn't mean to hurt your feelings if I came at you a bit hard
Francis turned down a 7 million dollar contract not too long ago, he wants more and should have more but but wasn't a bad deal for him anyway. If you're entertaining and you have a personality you'll make money, if you're personality is that of a grey sidewalk like Stipe then it doesn't matter if you're the champ UFC is gonna hate your guts. Gotta be entertaining and not just know how to fight i suppose, it's a entertaining business why should the UFC be obligated to pay lots of money to people that don't know how to promote fights and are boring? Doesn't make sense you have to agree

That card last night was amazing. I’m still in shock Aljo beat Yan.
It was interesting seeing the side of Khamzat that is not overwhelmingly destructive. Burns really held his own. Really good fights.

Khamzat's trainer was screaming hysterically "Don't stand and bang with him" inbetween rounds it was both frustrating and hilarious to watch lol I'm glad Aljo won he deserves it after all the shit he's taken since winning the belt, he got a bit too much hate imo, not a lot but a bit too much.

That Aljo-Yan fight was the most boring on the entire card and did not live up to the hype. Aljo held Yan in a body triangle for two rounds and spent the rest of the fight backpedaling before wilting in the final two rounds.
He was gifted the first round by two judges to get a W on paper, but otherwise won zero fans. The fact that he failed 19 out of 22 takedowns speakers for itself.

Charles or Islam? Personally, I’m not even sure who I would guess would win. I get that Islam is a powerhouse like Khabib but Charles I think would really handle the wrestling from Makhachev.
Not to mention Oliveira’s hands have gotten nasty.
Who do y’all think would win if the fight happens?

While I'm not a hardcore UFC fan, I have been a "casual" for a couple decades (my buddies dad had ALL the DVDs back in the day), and that head kick was no doubt one of the best fight moments I have ever witnessed. I was ready to check out like everyone else was, next second I'm whisper screaming trying not to wake my family up.
So stoked for Leon. And he's right, that pound for pound shit is nonsense because one head shot is all it takes to dethrone the champ.

Good vibes Kamaru heals up quick. You know he’s gonna start picking his damn hands up now for sure. If he doesn’t have some sort of brain damage, I’d be shocked. That kick was clean. Straight textbook.

What yall think about that 279 debacle?
I'm from the 209 so I'm happy as could be to see Nate choke out Ferguson and walk away on a high note. That Khamzat fight most likely would have been an ugly ending for him.
But the way all that went down, with the backstage "brawl" that had zero cell phone footage even though 100 people were involved, the canceling of the press conference, Khamzat missing weight by 8 lbs even though he's shown he can make weight on 10 days notice before, and all of a sudden we have a dream card that makes way more sense than the original. It's like the UFC knew they weren't going to make any money and decided to stage that whole thing to fix the card.
I don't know, I hope I'm wrong because that would mean this shit is way more like the WWE than we all realize.
Diaz Army mutha fuckas.

And Nate gets the sub with 2:09 on the clock. People are calling the whole thing a conspiracy, but war Diaz brothers. Dana said people are out of their minds thinking there could have been a coordinated conspiracy with the crazies on the card that night. He has a point.

I am excited again with the UFC for Bo Nickal. I just don't think he will be beatable in 2 years if he is beatable now.
He isn't that meathead type wrestler like Brock Lesnar but he can make the smallest adjustments to his body in space so his striking and bjj are already pretty deadly. Forget about it in 2 years.

I am curious to see how he does in the UFC as well. Lots of excellent athletes come from other leagues and then get shit on by a gatekeeper in their first UFC match is what I’ve noticed. I will say, they set him up for success with his first opponent though.

Bo though I think has that coordination that someone like Jon Jones has that he can drill something a few times and then just do it perfectly with his body. I watched a video of him hit pads and he can already do a perfect flying knee. His kicks already look perfect.
I have watched a video of Abdulrashid Sadulaev hit pads and he looks absolutely terrible even though he is probably 2 or 3 levels above Bo in wrestling and a better athlete.
It is really how good his chin is as he probably doesn't have a great chin and just a normal chin. His BJJ might already be as good as anyone.
