Dana white came out with a hard bluff so everyone is scared. I run kodi using The Crew addon for the fights while rocking a vpn in the background.

The Chandler and Dustin Poirier knockouts back to back. Awesome PPV. So happy for Dustin and his career.

I'm glad chandler and poirier won. Honestly, those 2 should either fight for the belt or winner of that fight takes on Khabib. Pronounced Ha-beeb. Not Hu-beeb or Khabib. Ha-beeb stands for love, Khabib stands for one who topples over, and Hu-beeb stands for some other shit.

Dustin is an animal. I hope Conor makes a comeback.
Charles vs Dustin would be an awesome fight.

There's a bunch of decent fighters coming up right now. 2021 is going to be an exciting year. Mcgregor and Ferguson can watch from the side lines.
I'm curious to read all the mcgregor excuses today. Poirier earned that shit and won fair and square.

That’s a ridiculous take. Conor will always be a champ champ.

Very rare is it for a fighter to never lose. Conor can come back. He looked good for most of the fight, but Dustin's calf kicks caught up to him. I hope he comes back because I think he can still become champion again someday.

Even when he was on top the guys was decent at best. He's good but certainly isn't one of the great ones. The guys washed up its all down hill from here. Hell he's so nuts he might even totally lose it and trainwreck after this.

I disagree. People are talking about Michael Chandler getting a title shot, but look at his resume. He’s lost a couple times over the past few years and he’s like 34 or 35....Conor is 32. He can turn it around and get back to the top. He looked good in this fight. He needs to learn how to check those kicks, but if he does that I think he handles Poirer in the trilogy.
He took the loss with grace. It sounds like he still has the hunger, tho he admitted he’s a different man than what he was around 2014. Time will tell.

I agree with Cheif.
In combat sports, once that aura is gone, it's extremely difficult to get it back. It's the same thing in boxing.
He's on the wrong side of 30, and after winning like 14 in a row and ascending to superstar status, he has now lost 3 of his last 6. Stopped in all 3 of those L's.
He still has a name so he can still make some money in the sport, as probably a gatekeeper, but the aura is gone and there's really little question that his best days are probably long gone.

A loss is big in boxing, mma not so much. Jan Błachowicz is 37 years old with 8 losses and is a UFC champ. Chandler is 34 and people are talking about a title shot for him. Masvidal is 36 and had his first title shot in 2020 and he has double digit losses.
All Conor has to do is learn to check leg kicks and he beats Dustin in the trilogy. If Conor fights and wins 2 more times this year, by this time next year people will be talking about a title fight.

Fast-tracking Chandler to the title is fucking dumb. He needs to climb the rankings like Justin Gaethje did when he debuted from another promotion and TKO'd Michael Johnson.
Charles Oliveira deserves the title shot more than anyone else on the entire lightweight roster. No question about this. Oliveira vs. Poirier is the fight to make. If Khabib is not retiring, it should be Oliveira vs Khabib.

What are you smoking? McGregor "washed up?" The dude has had an inconsistent career since winning the lightweight belt. Besides his pursuit of double champ status, he's always picked paydays and business-orietned glory over an actual MMA legacy. At 32 and without ton of a cumulative MMA mileage (as far as we know), his success as a contender is contingent on him training smart and utilizing his legit fight IQ.
Also, TKO, my ass. Conor McGregor was completely out from those last few of Dustin's punches.

I honestly think chandler needs to put in the work for the next couple years.. I can't wait to see him grow and smesh.
I also think a poirier and olivera fight needs to happen.
As far as a title match, I'm a bit hung up. I think the poirier and olivera fight could be a title fight if Khabib is done done, but if he's not, I'm not too sure who he would fight and when..
The winner of the poirier and olivera fight seems like it would be the best option, but a little piece of me would love to see chandler and Khabib fight.
I'd also love to see mcgregor pull his head out of his ass and fight Khabib. I'd be rooting for Khabib the entire time though..

It could also mean I was being silly.
As it turns out, we're both wrong. Dana White is just an absolute fucking liar.
More of his asshole bating tactics to manipulate/disparage fighters. Same as anytime he says "Nate Diaz/GSP/Jon Jones/etc. doesn't want to fight." It's total bullshit- they all want to fight. He's a shitty promoter and an absolute liar.
Khabib actually doesn't want to fight and Dana is saying he does.
That's a bummer. Khabib also just said he's levels above everyone else and I agree with him. I wish he would return but I guess it is what it is.
