Jars. These have the same dimension as ball wide mouth jars(86mm)

Lids. Leak proof PP5 wide mouth lids.

Petris. They have 90 and 55mm plates, parafilm, media bottles and scalpels.

Agar. 500g box, note that it is weaker then other stuff so you'll need 3-3,5% instead of 2%.

Swann-Morton scalpel handle no.7. I will link this handle because it's a fucking dream to work with.

For filters you can get these filter stickers, but I recommend getting the thich SFD's and use high temperature silicone to glue them on.





If you decide to go with the thick SFD's just let me know and I'll send you enough filters to make 30 lids

Just finished ordering everything on the list you posted, Except the most important thing, the petris But I send that company a mail hoping they allow civilians buy a few hundred 90mm ones, but when I went to pay it insisted that I register my school/business first to even be able to order anything from them... we'll see.

That's for you to decide, you can do the same job with any size dish but chances are astronomical that you\ll eventually get tired of the tiny work and you'll get into the 80-100mm plates and never look back, or maybe you'll love using 35mm ones and continue to do so? In that case the secret service or some anti terrorist agency need to look into you cause you're a psycho jk

Those would actually be perfect for doing a tiger drop(whole plate) to jars/bags. Using them to clean up cultures sounds like a pita though

Faster, less chance of hidden nasties on the plate, easier to add to jars, less likely to stick to the glass, easier to get out of the petri dish.

be sure to keep dry malt extract powder sealed in a jar - do not keep it in a plastic bag or other situation that is not sealed, or else it will grab water out of the air and eventually become one solid brick that is impossible to break without dissolving. 

it sounds like you're getting moisture in your LME, so maybe you could dry it out again?
