They like cooler temps but are ok up to about 78f, they like high humidity when pinning. A 3 week incubation before cutting an opening is ideal ime. They respond really well to a drop in temps to initiate pins but it's not necessary

Keeping busy, first attempt at lion's mane indoors and pretty happy. Dialing stuff away as we go and see what's good.

Proud of myself! Day ten since fruit body.

Back when I was younger, I didn't have a clue, and come to think of it, I still doubt I do.

Naw. This is from a collection I made on a local forage trip. I'm not sure what flavor this one is.

Second flush of some chestnut mushrooms in an unmodified tub. I had some extra 50/50 peat/verm casing layer that I added after the first flush and they seemed to like it.

Dialing in princess pearl oysters fresh air requirements for this setup..

Super fun watching day by day as I record exact parameters, these stared off leggy and as I slowly upped the fae I see them fanning out more and more.  I wish there was a way to measure the dynamic c02 levels in a setup like this..

Cool lm and thanks, this is all for personal consumption of good homegrown mushrooms.  Have enoki going in tent next, should be able to cut fae in half, we’ll see

Almost 2 pounds first flush on a ten pound bag.. if I would have provided more fae from onset the yield would likely be much better.
