Well, no, unfotunately not. Many things are the same, though. When doing gourmets, you want to go bulk.

The best thing would be to buy The Mushrooms Cultivator by Paul Stamets and study it thoutoughly.

The newer book, Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushtrooms has info on more mushroom species, but lacks the compost preparation part and the contamination section.

Having both is a great plus.

the newer newer book is KEY! it fits it all together.. making real suggestions for lowtek, nonsterile cultivation.. goes over quite a few new species and really is a must have

highly recommended!
