Do you know someone/where that cultivates morels? I want to get some fresh ones, and have no patches or stores that sell them. Anyone know about mail order fresh morels? heh. dried had so little flavor... i've yet to try them fresh.

Morel cultures are available and success is not difficult.bedds of old potting soil and houshold food waste make good habitat.I have a patch which fruits each year where I burn trash(this year they grew right out of a pile of old cat litter, mmmmmm, good)Bon Chance WR

I once ate some giant puffball sliced 2 inches thick, dipped in egg with mixed herbs and garlic then coated with fresh breadcrumbs and fried.
Best mushroom I've ever tried but hard to cultivate so I've heard..
