Knocked this bag of black pearl up July 3 and left it on the shelf.

Apparently the cold temperatures made it decide to bust through the bag.

Reshi cloned from a local wild find. My first go with reshi, seems to be going well enough so far.

Thanks!
I feel fortunate! The whole project has been going well.

It was a lucky find. I was looking for cubes. 😆

Blue king oysters. I was gifted a blue oyster grow kit back in 2018. Those were the first mushrooms I ever grew.

This photo of a wild oyster mushroom a few days after my last photo with pins.

Unfortunately, my cheap, crappy humidity regulator showed a different value than it actually was and dried out my mushrooms. It took me 2-3 days to realize that something was wrong. I immediately turned up the humidity, but unfortunately, the damage had already been done. Only one mushroom from the bunch survived relatively well, and a few mushrooms started to grow again

In another bag, however, it completely dried out and I picked the dried mushrooms, and underneath it were pins. After 2-3 days they look like this  A bit mutated. I wonder if it's because the substrate mixture is too rich, as it contains coffee, hay and grains.

Im glad it worked anyway  It was my first wild oyster mushroom clone, that grow indor.

definitely beautiful blizz.

where was the wild fruit growing?

do you think it's P. ostreatus or other pleurotus?

I foun it in Central/East Europe  Im 99% sure its ostreatus, rather cold-loving, because it was found in October, on a fairly cold day, and it was tiny.

Once several fronds where a couple inches i cut bag rolled it down and exposed to air.  Using a rubberband around the upper part of bag is a great technique.  side pins suck with this variety.  Pinning really picked up when i was able to get the temperature <60 degrees.  I grow in an automated monotub.

Everything monotubs.  Maitaki, kings, lions mane, oyster, etc.. life is easier not cleaning tents.
