I got to pour some agar again. Only one plate didn't pick up contamination when I poured last time I tried to do 25 plates. I got 5 plates that doesn't have contamination my first pour but used too little agar powder. If I dont do a lot I dont rush and do a way better job im trying to do stuff a little at a time. Going to do 5 plates worth

Then I have to harvest my monotub of chestnut mushrooms going to clone one print the cap and clean the tub its the 4th flush I only got a handful of mushrooms.

Im getting a saus vide machine in the mail today so im waiting till then should be about 4 hours. My zapotecorum is almost ready to spawn im giving it another 3 days though and my ATL7 spore agar plate germinated so im going to have to transfer in a couple days so far clean looking growth surprisingly so its not a rush.

I poured 7 agar plates turns out when I dont spill 100ml that's the amount I get. I put it in the saus vide at 125F till the temperature equaled out then I turned it off till it hit 124F and poured. I didn't spill at all its cooling down I think I will just wait till morning harvest print clone and clean tub I should have time before work tomorrow.

Do I still get banned if the print isn't finished yet? I don't get off work till 5pm will be over that amount of time for it to dry out. :permabanned:

Great job getting those poured!:rockon::mushroom2: you aren't wasting any time. I'm sure that won't be an issue with a slight delay due to work. But don't leave us hanging... ladysknight is gonna whip out the ban hammer if you wait to long after work :marioban:

Idk what your living situation is, but it'd be a whole lot less dickin around to go outside and burn these plates, if youre pullin stickers for security purposes prior to tossing them.

I attempted to clone 3 mushrooms but the stems so small I kept accidentally cutting through them I used 2 disposable scaples and I still don't think I got clean transfer. The stems were to tiny from the 4th flush I cleaned the monotub and the prints are underway should be tomorrow morning I finish everything. I got more stuff I got to do zapotecorum casing in 3 days Tresure Coast A2A tampanensis A2A plus bulk substrate hopefully soon im guessing about a week going to do a Tresure Coast and a Pink Buffalo bulk substrate monotub within a month probably about 2 weeks.

I made some nice progress last night! I’ll be at it again today! I got a lot of transfers done, made up a lot of wedge bags and made stacks of plates to be disposed of. I’ll be back at it this afternoon for a four hour block of time!

Nah can’t burn trash here. I wouldn’t burn plastic anyway. The stickers come off easily, but also a quick rub with lacquer thinner takes everything off, sharpie and the print on a sticker. But the edge of a razor blade makes easy work of a sticker if my finger nail can’t start it.

Looks like I completed everything but failed to get a good print they produced zero spores and the clone attempt looks contaminated and wasted my scaples.

The only thing that actually worked was cleaning the monotub :sadyes:

Task completed. Really needed to challenge myself here. I cleaned 173 plates to toss, made transfers to 56 new plates, cryovialed 2 plates, and made up 41 wedge baggies. Oh and also got in a batch of white chocolates and made 3 1/2 quarts of CV+! Feeling good and exceeded my goals. Thanks for this thread and to the support of a few of you guys!

I have to clean everything prepare cow manure cold pasteurizate straw make CVG spawn zapotecorum today spawn bulk Tresure Coast to straw and cow manure tomorrow at some point I think im doing 60% manure 40%straw 1-4 ratio grains to bulk substrate.

Also turns out my chestnut clone is looking ok although im 99% certain the plate will contaminate eventually all I see is a little fuzz on the clone so far I think its mycelium.

Oh I also have to dispose of a contaminated jar then shower.

I cleaned out my jar did the straw but it has to soak at least 18 hours I crushed the straw in my hands tore it up shredded it basically. Its completely submerged in cold hydrated lime water. Then I did the cow manure in jars the amount of grain times 3. I just filled water around them and used a sous vide to keep at 140F for an hour. Im going to let cool till tomorrow I also prepared CVG but its mostly coir about 90% coir 9% vermiculite 1% gypsum.

I think I will complete the tasks tomorrow im also spawning a pink buffalo that I just noticed is done. I also got to clean the monotub for bulk substrate and cut a trash bag for lining.

Its drying out started at 8pm it expand a lot so I think im doing a larger amount of straw than I originally planned but it should work ok. I spread it on a drying pan so its even mostly to dry faster but im giving it more time. I think I will do a layer of straw layer of manure then grain and repeat till I run out of grain then mix and add a top layer of mixed straw manure whatever I have left.

Im planning to colinze completely and case in CVG after then let grow about 10 days and then start getting humidity going. Treasure Coast are supposed to get big its a very nutrient rich diet im excited I washed the monotub completely it was mostly clean from when I cleaned it before. Just don't like dust or anything :shrug:

I got 7 jars I think will be done in the next week some 24-48 hours probably and 2 I think could be done now but im being patient to make certain.  And I got agar culture im thinking about ditching since I have good spawn already and can get spores and start over pretty easily. Spores store better than agar culture so idk.

One I get over a pound im going to quit growing I would waste the mushrooms from age of how long it would take to eat them all. Only got 17 grams currently though :headbang3:

Tresure Coast spawned to cow manure and straw covered in straw only. CVG zapotecorum my cat is obsessed with looking alright starting to get humidity. Anyway I completed everything going to pour some agar after I clean up.
