I've got 6 10lb onion sacs of straw that need to be used in spawning buckets or shoeboxes



This will require me to clean at least a couple buckets and shoeboxes which I've also been procrastinating

I need to harvest, and print some of these.



I put it off yesterday, and am afraid I will put it off again today.

I think this batch of x7x+ may be sporeless. Which is very exciting if that be the case. However, if I want to leave them longer to be certain that means I may be in trouble :uhoh:



Only 1 mushroom dropped spores, and that was yesterday.

I also made way more straw then I ended up needing, which means it wasn't all used for spawn, 2 extra onion sacs left. Though I did spawn a bucket of white oysters, and a bucket of blue oysters. Did a 12qt of atl7 and 6qt shoebox of x7x+ as well. Although that still that leaves my mission half complete



Kloakk, my man, I appreciate your support so much :heart::mushroom2: but it looks like in a couple hours it's Ban o'clock. :eek:

Buddy, I ain't no judge or executioner. And when something this cool(sporeless x7x+) turns up, off course it changes things and I understand. And you made to much straw, that happens, we all make mistakes, no worries.

Don't be too hard on yourself here Agar, you clearly been working on this and you did a great job with the work you got done, and hey, there's always(most days) tomorrow :hug:

How many jars ready to spawn do you have left, and are there any bucket and/or tubs to clean?

I'm honestly pretty excited about the potential of this cube. Here's hoping it doesn't drop spores and I can get this to replicate.

I used all the spawn, cleaned only the buckets and tubs I needed.

Self ban?



If you used all your spawn and cleaned enough bucket and tubs, then the only thing left would be to harvest the tubs, and there is no way you or me for that matter would waste a chance like this, I mean, one thing I really don't like about x7x+ is the massive spore drop just hours after the veil breaks, you most likely have something real good here and cloning is a must, right?

And you know what, taking a self ban now would leave us hanging about how those sporeless x7x+ will do the next couple of days, you wouldn't do that to us would you?



Joking aside, off course you should do whatever you think is best, I'll just say that in my opinion you've done a great job and just happened to make a small change because it should be prioritized :hug:

I just don't want to act like I'm above the rules here. I take this thread seriously because it gets me off my ass and getting thing done :rofl:

Here's hoping it doesn't spore dump like crazy in The next few days. Idk though man, x7x+ caps that are that upright usually have dropped a lot of spores.

The rules must be followed or this thread loses it's power to get us off our ass, so I get that as well.
I totally agree aboute the x7x+ though, should have dropped spores by now, and they look beautiful, so I have my fingers crossed for your tub.

I agree with Kloakk there AW! You can only do so much in a day. You didn’t get it all done, but I believe you had more than was possible to get done. This is a passing grade in my book. You gave it your all and kicked ass. I don’t think a ban or self ban would be needed in your case. However LK does have the final say!

I concur, feeling assured and accomplished with my task, tomorrow I will verify if they are indeed sporeless, and clone them.

If they drop spores, I will report this and promptly self ban. I feel this would only be fair as that would mean I could have printed them.

I'm at the mercy of these mushrooms now

Ok, it is time to hold myself accountable. I have upwards of 150-200 plates I need to empty, clean off the stickers, writing and get rid of. It’s literally too much to do in one day. I need to the about 30 of them and make transfers to new plates to keep the cultures going or start them again. I have enough fresh clean plates ready to receive the transfers. I’ve been putting this off for too long. I have reserved and dedicated time tonight, 4 hours tomorrow and four hours on Sunday to get this done. I know it’s not 24 hours, but that is just unrealistic for me. I will post a pic Sunday night of all my empty, clean plates to be tossed into recycling so you all have proof I’m keeping this commitment. If I don’t meet this commitment then someone please hit me with the ban. So be it.

Same. I can usually keep my personal commitments but this one I’ve been procrastinating on too long. It is HARD to toss a plate. They are like my little science projects that o have attachments to. I never posted anything in here to hold myself accountable, so I kinda needed to do this. We got this Rev! We can do it!
