Those look great! I love blue oysters too. Honestly my favorite out of all the colors so far, growing and eating wise :crazy2:

I got both tubs to fruit at the same time. Masters mix is decent stuff for wood lovers Chestnut mushroom are alright better than porterbello mushrooms but the stems are not so great I eat them anyway though. Im going to dry them because I had to throw away 70% of my last harvest from putting it in a used grocery bag in the fridge I guess it had bacteria

Yahh prolly my favorite as well! The only downside to the king blues is they seem a bit more susceptible to blotch. Usually start to see it 2nd flush on fruits in the corners of the cut where there is less air circulation.

Side fruited some white enoki:

I love enoki!  They look creepy as hell growing under plastic... I have yet to get them to fruit nicely from a single side of the bag.  Nice job!

They got a lot today I have plug in pressure canner and went through 6 cups of water in a 120 minute pressure cook on some grain so removed the lid to the monotub completely. It was pretty humid in the room the caps seem to have grown in size and I have a few veil breaks. I will harvest tomorrow I think.

The pressure canner is amazing I had lunch with my family and it kept it at 15PSI and shutdown at 120 minutes itself all I do is set the weight.

this mornings harvest I ended up dehydrating it because last flush 70% ended up thrown away because I just can't eat this many mushrooms in 48 hours.

The last picture is 5 of the largest caps on tin foil if everything goes as planned and I get a nice drop they will all be given out for free on the marketplace. Just keep a lookout if interested I think the prints will turn out decently all in a still air box.

Unfortunately the prints are wet and super contaminated so I am just going to throw them away it was my first attempt. im not sure what I did wrong one print the second to the most left looks decent but still has little bits of mushroom tissue in it. I will keep practicing I think I left it for to long about 9 hours. :facepalm3:

I wouldn’t throw them out, anyone that’s decent with agar can easily pull good plates from the dirtiest prints or tissue

Shoot its to late now I think I can get a 3rd flush its just a little dry currently they seem to need over a week of fruiting conditions to recover enough to pin again.

I think if I cut the stem about half a inch below the cap it will keep it from touching the print should be cleaner next time.

my chestnuts are starting to pin for a 3rd flush pretty strong looking over 100 pins.

I been thinking about trying bucket grows they look pretty. Saw a combination of elm oyster and blue oyster on agar that seems cool but its pretty expensive.

Lemon head, ewhere did you get the culture? A lot of vendors have been selling a mislabeled white oyster passing it off as a true elm oyster, I personally got burned by this a few years ago

To me that doesn’t look like a true elm but I could be mistaken

Notice the Gills don’t continue on the stipe like true oysters
