Same for me, I like to keep my trips light and fun, I stick to comedies and cartoons. Monty Python, Simpsons, American Dad are my favorites.

How much beer do you think this is? Would it be cold by the time you finished or would it be grossly warm? Do you wear this during the summer or winter?

So many questions.

I'm not into fiction, usually. There are some that I like but few and far between. If it's fiction, it should be unusual or I probably wont like it. I can appreciate cinematography as well. Watched "Frankenstein" (half of it anyway) last night on Netflix. The scenery and backdrop was gorgeous! Halfway through, I lost interest since all of that tapered off. Yhe story wasn't interesting enough. Anyway.

This is sort of appropriate to share here. I promise it's not more of my idiotic drivel.

My first psychedelic experience was on acid at 14 years old. I loved it! My perspective of the world had been changed forever! I knew I discovered something special and wanted to get my gaunt little hands on as many tabs as I could, as often as I could. One of the changes that came through that was my complete boycott of television & movies. In my reality, I felt they were a waste of time. I could see right through the acting. None of it was convincing enough to hold my attention. Because of this, beyond friends or family having it playing in the background, I didn't watch hardly any from 14 to about 22 years old. I eventually started to watch regularly in my late 20s. So, yeah. I'm picky when it comes to that.

How much beer?  -  enough.

Will it be warm?  -  Nah, they got some kind of built-in beer jacket cooling system.

Monty Python and Benny Hill! Yes! Especially Monty Python for me. I have watch all of their stuff a few times over. I'm a big Marx brothers fan. Cocoanuts, Duck soup, Monkey Business, and Horse Feathers are my favorites!

I’ve never completely understood why someone would block anyone. I mean, outside of them just being a total fucking asshole with nothing to contribute to society. I like to know who hates me. I’ve never been afraid of confrontation but I also try to make peace when possible.

I’m also an idiot, so there’s that…which is nice.

Take it from someone who struggles HEAVY with others' perspective of them- try not to spend to much energy thinking about it, cuz it could be LITERALLY any reason. You may have mentioned something triggering to them. You may have a sense of humor they don't appreciate. Who even are they? Could be literally anyone. Could be an ex who was stalking you and then decided to back off. Could be you from the past.

The most effective method I've found is to let each possibility float through my brain and go on its way to make room for the next one, and the next one, until I naturally start thinking of something else. I don't "try not to think about it". Instead, I try not to get too anxious or attached to those thoughts.

Because yeah, someone has me ignored and it's really hard not to stress about it lol

The Fountain ftw. I love that movie. I wonder what watching that on some shrooms would be like? I’d probably be a blubbering idiot.

The first time I saw it I had taken semilanceata, I believe it made a much bigger impact on me that way, but I've probably seen it +10 times after that and it's always so good, but it's always also kind of hard, like most of my trips

Shit dude. Your taste in movies is on point. Contact and Arrival are excellent and I own both. I can’t count how many times I’ve watched Arrival.

Thanks, and I agree Arrival is awesome, love it.

AstroSporeFiend said:
Shit! I forgot to tell Kloakk I just watched it. It was weird AF, way emotional, and I’m glad I watched it not on trippies first. Lol. Next time.

It was a great first watch on shrooms :awesomenod:

My dad ripped off the plot to contact for a bedtime story when I was a kid. Years later I watched it going hmmmm... this story is very familiar haha

That's cool. I'll admit that the first time I saw it(when it came out in 1997) and after I've had a couple of life changing trips +10 years later, it was not the same fucking movie

tryptkaloids said:
I enjoyed arrival. But I still dont really get it... it was well executed, but I dont see the motivation for traveling all that way to change one person

For me the movie is about knowing the truth about life and death and still choose it, everything else in that movie is just noise to me. I love it though.

The fountain is my acid movie.  I watched it alone tripping the first time, I've watched it with at least ten people since
It's such a great trip movie, the score is beautiful the imagery is insane and the story makes a ton more sense when tripping

Word, I mean they knew, for those of you that have seen The Fountain or the ones that haven't, but don't care about seeing a scene unrelated to the plot, I really recommend this short scene that they decided to cut from the movie, most of you will love it :awesomenod:

My cousin’s husband was a surgeon and used to go to surgeries buzzed on booze. He was drunk and giving me shit about my first tattoo and I had to corner him and threaten to whoop his ass if he didn’t let up. He backed off and my relationship with my family has been strained ever since. This all happened at a Christmas dinner party. It’s fucking weird how the world works.

You were totally justified in your response and your family needs to grow up and accept it 🤷‍♂️

Bingo. But also what I said. I'd give a dude a chance if he rock climbed though. Would be nice to have a partner climbing with me on a beautiful mountain.

I believe that if you meet one of right ones, they would get in to climbing just to share that experience and get to know you and what you like even if they didn't climb when you met

I'll be honest, my wife didn't believe in love at all when we first met, she always thought that in a relationship you would always have to compromise and give up certain things in order to make it work, but sometimes that's not the case. My wife is free do to whatever she want and I'll try to support her in any way I can, what I need from her is honesty.

If she can give me that, then I would even pay for her airplane ticket to another man if she believed he could give her a better life. See I believe that if I truly love her then her happiness goes beyond my own, if not then what I actually love is my own life with her in it, but I am strange so don't quote me on it

I thought about this last night while I was tripping. I feel too damaged beyond any repair to have a relationship like this. My trauma is unresolved because when I did try to seek therapy, the therapist told me that I "must like being miserable" because I didn't agree with her ideas. I cried 45 minutes back home and never went to therapy again.

The movie that Keith Heath Ledger died during production,
The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus
Was a trip on :mushroom2:... didn't know anything about it except for the fact that he died while in production, kinda made it that much more of a trip especially with the use of different actors (several), along with the storyline.
