not so much as marketing bullshit but as a sly way of saying LC without saying LC .. but ya i don't care for whatever bullshit it is either

LC's are still federally illegal i would assume. some people have theorized ways to make sure alkaloids don't form in the lc and thus would be legal but i doubt most vendors are doing that and are just operating in a grey area

You cannot have an isolate with spores.

Most people claiming isolate with agar or LC are also full of shit.

But especially with spores, that’s not how they work.

Don’t buy anything from that vendor, they lie.

I think its a euphemism for liquid culture, perhaps with isolated genetics. it seems that a lot of the industry has become comfortable with selling and sending LC. I've even seen a few companies selling grown-out agar plates lately, which surprises me.

ya a few years back shroomery had gotten their first lc sponsor and i never actually got an answer as to what had changed to make this ok now. who knows.

still a grey area either way. never heard of any enforcement though

If myc doesn’t have actives then it should be fine, the same way spores are fine. Most places only regulate alkaloids (not species) from what I have read. Also, not sure what is recently different to make vendors change their tunes. I’m guessing the lack of enforcement that you mentioned.

As far as law enforcement is concerned it seem to me that mycelium still falls under illegal, from all the research i've done.

Has that stopped all these vendors from doing it? No.

Are people getting busted for selling myc? Not really that i've seen. Is is possible to get arrested for it? Sure

Are a lot of people on both sides just kind of shrugging thier shoulders currently? It seems.

But remember, Florida just made spores and the mycelium illegal... so, things are going both ways depending on region.

It’s that era between when weed was illegal going to getting legal. There’s just no fucks to kinda sorta give.

States in USA are pushing to legalize it, with some areas already decriminalizing it, places using it for therapy, and the amount of crimes committed is near zero so it’s a waste of time.

Hell, companies on YouTube advertise they sell shit for “magical mushrooms” and one website even has Howie Mandela pimping their shit.

It’s the selling part that will definitely get the Feds to pull out the massive dildo of justice

mycelium does contain actives but i have never been able to find a standard in how they test in crime labs ect

precedent was set in the pf raid in the early 2000's and i think it may have said they did not detect alkaloids in the mycelium until knot formation but a more recent study indicates that alkaloids are in fact present in mycelium

I hadn’t seen mycelium being illegal (until Florida went full retard)

I’ve seen it written that psilocin is the illegal part. Hence why the fake gummies freely advertise they use psilocybin

Shops absolutely do get raided. Out this way some folks were bold enough to open a storefront to flat out sell shrooms, there was aline around the block for their overpriced cubes. Anyway, that got raided and shut down because the DEA were watching them and waited about two weeks to hit them.

I'm sketched about buying anything from a vendor, though it is generally super safe to do. At some point in growing you just trade prints and have so many on hand it's not worth buying any :shrug:
