What would be the point? What would it really change? I think it would just give newbies the impression that the 'shroomery' is based around 'venders', so they get special status... but I dont care either, if this will make the venders feel more 'special', so be it.
For what its worth.... my input :-)

I dont like it, its really not necessary in my opinion. All vendors have the URL's in their sigs, so that should be enough.

Seems like its uneccessary to this.... But thats just my opinion :smile:

I'm a newbie and I think ther should be a way to tell if someone is a vendor without reading their whole post,
or be able to see who is a vendor in the USER LIST.
But I have havn't been here long enough to make a point .

What is it that makes someone a vendor?I believe that someone,becomes a vendor, step by step.He possibly starts by doing some traades,selling a few priints,when someday he finds out that he can do it in a larger scale.Who is it, that can tell for shure if someone is a vendor?And specialy when its so fluid...I dont think labeling persons is a good idea nor a bad one.I think its neutral.But!!,Newbies kind of trust Vendors, because they think they are quite experienced(which is true)...but what if some scam who wants to be a vendor(like Ryche said) carries the "V" title just because he claims to be one?Wouldnt that be confusing to a newbie?Maybe it should stay as it is....one can easily find out if someone claims that a product he uses is very good, just to make other people buy it from him......or not????That O N E could be anyone in here anyway, couldnt he.I think that if someone is smart enough to do something like that :) he is smart enough to make a few fake posts to persuade his customers better....i know it sounds a bit bitter...but its true...I like to belive (like many others) that this isnt happening,and that posts are made here honestly and genuinely ...but no 1 knows, the truth anyway....these are just some thoughts that will hopefully generate more...
