Absolutely. After your bags or jars of grain are colonized, those are dumped in a tub and mixed with hydrated coir.

It's like building an AIO bag in a tub, without the bag, and problems.

AIO bag (first grow, didn't know better) to tub, it's been about a week. Does this need the coir rescue treatment, or should I just wait awhile?

I think you will really enjoy the spawning to bulk process. I was daunted by it first time, but it's actually really fun. It's hands-on, and the fresh smell of clean spawn will fill the room.

Thank you! I am really looking forward to it. Also I just found out that I might be moving to a different apartment in the same building and upon viewing that apartment, it has a lovely deep big closet, about 15' long and 3' deep with doors and cabinets in it. I can *absolutely* use a space like that.

I've got seven jars colonizing as well as two bags of grain and three empty tubs and about 9 pounds of unhydrated coconut coir. Let's rock 'n' roll!!!

It's really weird but I knew this guy's veil had popped and I went in and checked and sure enough he had fallen off the cake. Does anybody else intuitively know when it's time to harvest? 5g wet, looking forward to more.

Gotta confess…I fully intended to give my AIO bag this treatment but I broke it trying to cover it in coir, so ultimately just mixed it up with a bunch of coir at field capacity to make a tub. No liner, no pseudocasing. Just goes to show this isn’t knucklehead-proof
