Researching for fun
Pholiota adiposa on different substrates. 




1st (left column) (up to down): coffee ground, undefined dried out wild shrub w/ coffee ground, undefined dried out wild shrub
2nd column: pure horse dong, ivy stems with horse dung, ivy stems
3rd:  leafy dried out Erigeron spp., leafy dried out Erigeron spp. with coffee ground
4th: backberry stems and leaves,  blackberry stems & leaves with horse dung, blackberry stems

Nothing too impressive but it's the first decent flush after 4 months of non-stop partial and full failures, so I'm well happy. Quarter of a kilo, just like the last good one, but this time I managed to make it happen with only a third of a brick of coir rather than the whole thing, which is how it went last time. Yay for improving my efficiency.

I copied landtrout and made my own lil hanging basket of woodlovers.  Lined with green forest moss and filled with layers of maple shavings and old azzie myc chips.  Just fucking around to find out I guess.



I up-potted a bunch of berries and re-mulched them with maple shavings from a near by storm cleanup.  I prefer woodchips, but also I am lazy and won't look a shaving horse in the mouth.
