Personally with varieties like that I wait for the gills to tinge blue but others harvest after veil breaks, it’s ultimately your call.

That's overly technical for the most part, any change in potency is negligible.

Riiight, good to know :smile: I thought I've read that when the veil brake the amount of actives are final and the mushroom is just getting bigger but no more psylocibin is being created..so if the mushroom would get double size after the veil broke to potency to weigh ratio would be half..that is incorrect then yes?

Correct that is incorrect :lol:

Take Natalensis as an example, it's veil breaks very early and the mushrooms grow waaay bigger after.

If it were true that they were losing potency then I'd be eating bunk mushrooms which I definitely am not.

Harvested 2 15qt sterlite tubs this morning. Did a 1:5 (1qt spawn only) ratio with a 1” pseudo layer. It appears I will end up with 4-5oz dry. Noticed these tubs came out with a more classic PE look as opposed to a 50/50 tub I made that produced a bunch of monsters. All same culture.

First shroom I focused in looked just like cinctulus, really pretty.

Homestead grows, 2 weeks in:



First plin clone... nothing special, just lots of normal sized fruit :sad:

But the blob clone...



Top pins slow to develop while two massive fruits have been developing on opposite corners from side pins



One shows the beginnings of a frilly edge, while the second (along with several other fruits) has a cleft forming on the cap. 

I'm getting closer I think
