I come from a country where human rights have been severely abused for all my latest ancestors. Aka you would get locked up for nothing for example. What keeps fucking me up, including this last trip is extreme paranoia about my shroom stuff being discovered. Luckily I live in a better country where the worst case scenario is way better than that same in my native country. I hope I can trip balls without this paranoia at some point, but it's nothing new even if it happens with the bispos.
Loved your story. Interesting how they talked to you. I never heard one single voice in all my psychedelic experiences dmt included, where ppl claim to talk to entities n stuff.
Guess I'm a non verbal soul

It's more like empathic communication rather than audio hallucinations.  But bispo is the most auditory psychedelic I've taken, so I do hear voices on them as the lines between inside and outside get blurry.

But entities usually communicate with me empathically.  The process is free associative, like day dreaming or cloud watching.

Also, I'm sorry to hear about the repression it sounds like you experienced in your native country.  Especially if it came along with any sort of racism or other sort of class based oppression.  We tend to internalize those messages, and in my experience bisporus is especially helpful in sorting that out.  Me from not me, in other words.

Anyway, much love fam.  If you ever need someone to talk to, you know my DMs are open to you

Should I expect my panaeolus cakes to be all whites like cubensis?
Because I see the surface fully covered but not the sides.
When should I case?
Is verm alone a good casing?

You can probably case if the top is covered.  The sides not colonizing could be because the moisture content is too high, but it could be because pan myc is wispier than cubes and that's what you're used too.

I prefer straight peat.  Likely it's a skill issue for me, but verm hasn't ever worked well.  Jiffy Mix is also a good option if you don't want to mess with prepping peat.  It can be used straight from the bag.  Just mist it well after applying and you should be good to go.

Mystery SA trip report, 0.5g dry.

Second experience with them, first run was 5g fresh.

Potency was as strong as cyans.  Body load was pretty rough, possible histamine reaction, but I have chronic inflammation so body load is common for me.

Free associative closed eye space opened up once I accepted the discomfort and breathed into it.  At points I was completely immersed.  Reminded me of DMT breakthroughs with a distinct mushroom tone.  Mushroom spirit/guide/mind at large was present throughout.

Some excursions into hell realms to heal things.  Not to scary, as I didn't feel alone in it, and was still able to rest in my breathing and feel my heart beating.

Impression is they're more balanced than cyans and bispo, at least for my temperament.  But just as strong as either.

Thank you for the support! It is not racial but east europe has been plenty fucked up for everyone, communism being the cherry on top of the cake.
Sounds very interesting, I also get communications from beyond but theyre subtle. I mostly get visions of the future which has been a common theme for me. Even with weed. When I had just started to smoke I would get dejavus into the future and some would come true. On one instance being out with friends I would hear what they were gonna say in my head perfectly before they said it irl with a few second difference (so really really noticeable). If were given certain gifts I think mine is def peering through time, or clairvoyance. In my most fucked up trip to date 5 years ago I actually saw reality go back in time a few seconds like on a tape and roll back identically.
I also feel the energy of the planet strongly during big trips. On new years eve I felt it through my hands like crazy

Thank you  so excited for my first trip with these. As you said about connecting to the heart center, I need it a lot.

I hope they work well for you.  I feel I should be open about the fact that my first experience with them was very difficult.

I had internalized a lot of toxicity from my culture, and it was the beginning of the process of letting a lot of that stuff go.

But they were very direct with me.  They said this is us.  That's you.  And this darkness is not you.  Which was reassuring even though it was scary.

The resting in the heart center came after working with them a few times.  But, if you feel overwhelmed remember you can rest in your breathing and your heart center. It's our birthright.  But it may take practice, because we also get caught up in things and forget that.

A woman after my own heart. Very greatly put tree frog. Our birthright indeed.
:karatecat:

Here is my second flush TTBVI.

Just been drenched. Once a day getting a heavy misting. They seem to love it. Curious to see how many flushes this tub will give me.

Thanks TheAtlantean  I've always liked your username btw.  Was really into Atlantis as a kid.

I think the lack of coverage on the sides is a combination of moisture and wispier mycelium.  Also, I tend to case cyans a little early, unless the culture is like marshmallows, as those tend to overlay.  So, I think you can case that if you haven't already.

That is what I want to do. Unfortunately, I don't have any peat at the moment. It should arrive next Tuesday! Casing in two days here

The last mystery SA tray before harvest.  Thanks again tf!  There's a couple I'm looking forward to running again come summer and this is one.  They grow nicer than any other mushroom for me and they were the most stubborn for the longest.  Took a couple prints if anyone's interested.  Does anyone have a spare PHV print?

Shameless cross post.

Taken right before harvesting today. Just for taxonomy purposes and others that come after to see a TTBVI tub pushed to its limits. I know some people get 3-4 flushes. But how often are they this full and dense?

That’s chuuunky!

Wild print found over 2 years ago out back o’bumfuck so I’m calling it BOB for short 😂
Tubs a little tammed so not sure if that accounts for the random bigguns but they’re certainly post worthy

Just over a pint of pan cyan sitting a few weeks (thought it was iffy, wasn't sure I'd use, but have trouble throwing stuff out) Finally spawned to a thin substrate (1 inch max) two days ago

Hey yall! I was wondering if anyone in here grows without manure. I have some ttbvi jars ready to spawn to sub. I would love a guiding hand/ guidance on how much nitrogen I should use. I'm assuming worm castings?
