But just to elaborate because you didn't seem to get the joke which that's okay sometimes I'm too clever for my own good.


Basically it's a PLAYA on words (I did it again :laugh2:)


Uvita playa is a place in Brazil so by saying this strain doesn't play around I am taking a literal part of the name which both sounds like the slang word playa and also the word play.

Overall, the humor comes from the creative and unexpected juxtaposition of mycelium, a non-human entity, with the human social concepts of dominance and “game,” which are typically associated with social or romantic prowess.

It’s normal, they likely won’t get much bigger. Most look like they’ll be ready to harvest soon.

Got back into growing shrooms after years of away focusing on other stuff :laugh:

Had these pf cakes inoculated recently (one big one, ca. 450ml can, with a spore syringe, and two smaller ones, ca. 200ml, with a liquid culture I had started with the aforementioned syringe earlier. The smaller ones are experimental, had pf cake mix left over from the first bigger one)
