Re: TRUMP 2024 [Re: The Ecstatic]

The Ecstatic said:
Whether he does or doesn’t he’s already served his purpose.

He took a nation that had begun accepting the normalcy of Obama-style liberalism with a strong will to push it even further left, and rapidly jammed us back to the right. So much so that an entire decade of politics just stopped because the only agenda item on the docket is “stop Trump,” and the farthest right Democrat of the last 40 years became President and is hailed as the next FDR.

Best case scenario for normal people is Biden winning reelection, then he and Trump both immediately dying after Biden’s inauguration. I don’t think Harris is some transformational figure but she at least has a functional brain and can see which way the wind is blowing.

You might get your wish.

I suppose that is the best case scenario..

The best case scenario is Trump winning. Why? Because the only thing that matters is foreign policy. Everything else has been corrupted by clown world and neither Biden or Trump can fix it.

What Trump can do though that Biden isn't willing to do is put pressure on Macron and the rest of the Eurolemming countries to drop their retard talk about sending troops into Ukraine. This talk is dangerous and we need someone to put their foot down on these imbeciles. Trump, like him or not, doesn't want war with Russia or WW3 or nuclear war of any kind, and this is something which has always been the case.

Honestly, I really could care less about anything else. Most of our domestic issues are quite petty in comparison to the prospects of a nuclear exchange triggered by the likes of fucking Estonia or France. Biden won't do anything to stop it, they will just throw out some line about how France and Estonia are "sovereign" countries that can make their own decisions... Lmao.

The only domestic issues we have which are a major problem are the unchecked immigration and inflation, again both things which Biden is actively propagating, and where there is at-least a small chance Trump might try to do something about it.

Also as a side effect of Trump being elected, it will throw the Western elites into a chaotic frenzy, causing them to act out and act extremely retarded. This has positive benefits unto itself as their stupidity naturally causes some people to wake up here and there.

In any case, another Biden term is seriously risking a NATO-Russia war. A vote for Trump is a vote against it.

Some people might not like that, but it's true. To them I say, deal with it.

I think Trump is a faux "peace" candidate tbh.

I don't give a fuck about Ukraine anyway. I do care about Gaza... and Trump won't save anyone there.

I'm a Western elite... in my own mind. Where it counts.

Lets just say... in high-school, I had the biggest dick in the locker room.

Yes... I checked.

If foreign policy truly is the most important thing, what makes you think it hasn’t also been corrupted by clown world?

No matter who we support, domestically, how should it look, internationally, when policy reverses polarity, every 4 - 8 years?

Do plutocrats do whatev, behind close doors, and are we just allowed to wonder out loud?

Would any meaningful action be illegal?

Trump being good at foreign policy is absolute joke of a take anyways. Let's also note, the inflation issues were directly created by Trump. That was basically the only policy he created that worked.

I feel that the unspoken actions of each successive administration is a logical continuum.

We mainly argue about it, after the fact.

I sometimes suspect that elites (or their lookalikes) are in a leisurely state of play.

But, that actors in the role of front people can be politely re-circulated for freshness, like when players are rotated in volleyball or when new houseplants in a restaurant or hotel are kept on hold.

What policies reverse?

Especially when it comes to foreign policy? Republicans holding Ukraine aide hostage so they can get more border camps?

Foreign policy is what changes the LEAST between the two parties, that’s why it’s laughable for chop to suggest Trump is some revolutionary force.

I think there’s been multiple studies now concluding that the majority of inflation has been caused by corporate price gouging.

Trump’s QE during Covid certainly didn’t help, but it’s not like Biden leaking stories to the media that he’s actually super ticked at big business is some marked change in policy.

Both parties use the Fed to protect their short term political interests, and both parties let corporate America dictate the terms of inflation.

The price gouging started the minute the toilet paper sold out. No arguments there.

It's kind of obvious. The cost of things hasn't gone up proportionally. For some things I'm paying double now, and others I pay a much smaller amount more.
