Beauty

Appreciate it as often as possible.  A richly colored flower, a soft, warm breeze, a giddy school-girl, a spontaneous fortune, a good hair day...whatever...take the extra time and effort to acknowledge these subtle things and it might leave you feeling god-like.

Beauty is so unappreciated by so many people. I just recently realized how beautiful my home town is. I was driving down the road and looked off to the left to see a beautiful marsh area with blooming trees and a soft sunset behind it all. I'd never thought to look at it in such a way before then. I'd always thought of it as the swamp where the beavers lived and mosquito's breeded.

Everything has a certain beauty to it if we could just learn to look at it in that way.

yes yes yes...  beautiful things like trees and sunsets are taken for granted by too many people.  some people who are living in prison or whatever never get to see things like that!

:whoa:

I think the act of "detecting" beauty (:sun:) brings on some level of stillness in my mind.

When you can drive through the ghetto and by the garbage dump and see beauty, then you have arrived.
