Yeah that could be it I guess? Looks kinda too green for that but it could be the black agar that's reflecting light in a weird way or something? Again, apart from the color this is what I'd expect clone growth to look like so it'll probably grow out fine

As an experiment anything goes. Watch it and see if it develops bacteria, because it probably will.

In the future, pull your stipe apart like string cheese and cut a little piece from the inside. That will get you a clean clone
