IMO the place of carbon/active charcoal in mycology is right with H2O2 :shug:

I know some ex carbon users now only using water agar if they have a hard time cleaning a bacterial plate.

And I have been there - water agar did the trick for me

I like adding some H2O2 to my fogger tank. It helps it stay clean and provides extra oxygen, but is in no way necessary.

Handful of the APE plates I have are showing little pins. Hopefully a little preview of whats to come inside my current shoeboxes :awesome:

Might pluck this little fella in a day or two and put it to a fresh plate.

How did you AveryAlbino plates looked like? Got finally a clean piece of mycelium on a clean agar plate (Thanks again <3) :smile: Hoping to hit up some Rye soon with it <3

Ah okay, good to know :laugh: They are quite tomentose, but clean and that's all that counts for me :laugh:

The glass dishes were in them. Which were then ultimately in the oven for an hour at 300°F

And still have some cases of plastic dishes i'm working my way thru.
