Ain't a real mushroom grower without crocs.

FWIW - showering before sterile work is unnecessary. Still extremely dirty, mycology don't give no fucks if you showered or not. Hand movements and sterile technique is all that matters.

And yea I don’t worry about showering necessarily but I had just got home from work and I get pretty nasty their so I do always shower as soon as I get home and before I go messing with my mycology stuff

I truly do no understand how you guys get the pics that you do….these are the other 2 plates? I’m paranoid now lol…I wasn’t planning on transferring them again unless you guys can see something…I’m setup to transfer the other plate…just waiting on the air to settle in the room

Those plate are looking really good. Don't worry about ryzo growth, it's really overrated.

I’ve done both added too much then just a little. IMO I’m sure a little bit helps but I just like the way it looks with no color and nothing extra added. Just LME and agar for me.
