I'd drink lake water before I'd drink any tap.

The xtals that precipitate from my tap:

Once they precipitate they are no longer soluble. Feels like waxy stuff on the skin. Can't be good.

They don't dissolve in oil or acids that I have tried.

Distilled h20 is pretty commonly used in lab setting, it's pretty cheap.

Why use distilled when you can use tap, why use a loop when you can use a wire, why use a scalpel when you can use....

It's nice that cult can be performed with just about any materials at hand, but, they exist for a reason.

The local markets here sell spring water in 5 gal jugs. The jugs can double as FC's.

I also see a visible difference in color between distilled water and tap water. Besides that, my tap water is extremely hard. And when it rains it comes out yellow.

Not a lot of points for using tap water where I am.

I don't know a whole lot about the topic, so I'm curious what exactly could be in urine 🤔 I know that the myth is that urine is sterile, but it's just one of those things that people kinda assume to be true... is there anything that could lead to contamination?
