Some neat stuff happening in the GH . . .
First off, I have another wild line of papuana fruiting for the first time.  Meaty fruits with a very distinct phenotype:

For fun, compare to the fifth photo down in Bob's collection on mushroomobserver:
https://mushroomobserver.org/361729?q=1mxdT

Much different pheno than this other line I'm working with(tray is now on it's sixth flush):

Also some wild Georgia caerulescens:

And papuana's close cousin zapotecorum:

Thanks V.L!  Just trying my best to keep up with all the species you have going:lol:  Good luck with the papuana; I'm sure you'll nail it.  The cap colors on those pseudoaztecorum are very unique.

Does anyone know where to get bagasse or sugar cane mulch in the U.S? I can only find plates and stuff made out of bagasse here or all the way in Australia. It's for some zapotecorum, I'm trying other substrates too but I heard sugar cane is great for zaps. Much appreciated

Pretty sure it doesn't prefer grain and might prefer partially decomposed wood. Couldn't get banderillensis to take to grain at all. It is really weird stuff and super duper slow in every direction. I'm hitting the woods today to collect some local Fagus tree debris and soil.

Might be able to find it on CL in Florida or Louisiana. If you know anybody in Puerto Rico it is a USA territory and doesn't cost extra or go through customs shipped usps. I'd use the web to search for organic cane farms in the states and just call and ask them if they'd hook you up. It's not as popular of a product in the states as it should be for gardening and such.
