I'd just fill it with sub like normal but I'd definitely go a little heavier on the verm. Keep the sock damp and put it in an unmodified tub or bag. Either put some wet perlite in housing or open it and mist as needed. The myc will grow right through the sock.

Merry Christmas!

I had a very bacterial jar of B+ that I was gonna toss and decided to use it for this instead. 1qt of spawn to 2 parts CV. Spawned in a a plastic boot with decorative tinsel wrapped around it.

I lined the bottom-inside with a piece of plastic to keep sub from falling out while spawning and handling the boot. The FC was a half ass SGFC attempt. A bit of sporulation but that's because I was trying to let the sides catch up to the top.

Yea I used 10ccs and supersoaked the ramen cake monstrosity you see in the pictures. I recently saw someone growing ape on pasta and that was bizzare lol. I think a whole baked potato is my next target for a novelty meme grow.

We got a Christmas gift which I'll be using for a novelty grow next round.  As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to make something for this thread out of it.

I’m pretty sure the Uncle Ben’s Tek already exists - a very basic but functional tek for people with no pressure cooker. YouTube has some videos on it.
