Timmys is WAY better than DD. I'm looking into opening a franchise (even if it is just the Yankee version) but don't have enough liquid assets yet..hoping to have it all squared away by 2025 at the latest

Unfortunately Tim’s coffee (the true metric of a doughnut shop) is shit since McD’s bought the recipe a decade back. I personally hate them for discontinuing the walnut crunch 15 years ago so I rule “fuck Tim’s for being corporate shit” but give the grow a thumbs up 👍

This slightly bacterial jar of oats finished colonizing over a month ago. I was just gonna let it fruit in the jar until today when I saw this guy at the store.


I cut a hole in the back of his head (Sorry Mario!) and pulled out all of the polyfil except for what's in his arms and legs. Stuffed him with some spawn and a bit of coir and sewed him back up.


Busted out Excalibur and poked a bunch of holes in his face and body.


Gave him a good mist and stuck him in a shoebox.


I have no idea if this going to work or not. I have a feeling that it's either going to work or his insides are gonna turn into a giant blob. We'll see what happens. If it doesn't work out, I'll try again.

Mario has knots. Unfortunately, most of them are coming out of his ass!  :rotfl: I didn't even need to cut holes. The myc grew right through him.

Most of the mushrooms grew out of the neck area. Theres a few coming out of the back of the head and the eyes are starting to knot up.

Mario is all finished up. Today, he will get buried somewhere in my backyard.

Good use of bacterial spawn, too. I've got two quarts I need to do something with but don't want to hang onto until spring for an outdoor patch. Time to get creative!

i need to get off my ass and on my novelty grow ive had planned i just keep putting if off. my plan is to give a crystal head vodka botte an affro of mushrooms. i just gtta find the rite diamond bits to modify the bottle. i plan on takn it to work and cutting it on the cnc

That would be so dope! Might have better luck just finding a bandsaw blade that can cut the top clean off...

lol diamond blades aint cheap and uts not somethin we even have. plus i aint tryin to bandsaw  domed glass thats a surefire way to lose a finger😂 im use a 1/32 diamond  saw slitter an an arbor and walk around it.  ive been plannin it for a long ass time but its just kinda become one of the many projects i start and never finish😂 my problem is i get too busy at work and get tired of bein there so when its time to go home i say fuck it and leave instead of stayin n usin the machines for fun shit

Man, I thought about it while I was poking the holes in him. Could let the pins come out while he's laying on his back and then stand on him head so the mushroom curves up toward the light. Give him a big ol' wobbly dangler.

People have done teddy bears and bras before. It’ll work but the only thing I can think of is it might’ve helped to sterilize the Mario first and knock it up in front of the hood.

I was looking at the holes you poked into Mario and a part of me doesn’t think they would be big enough for shrooms to come out. Cool concept though! I hope it works...

I deleted all my pics almost two years ago now and wish I could at least get some of my neat novelty pictures back. Dang it for deleting stuff that was pretty awesome, oh well though I guess, they were enjoyed while they were up.

I almost sterilized him but this is also a contam test of sorts. Nothing about this was clean. Mario is dirty as hell. The knife blade didn't get cleaned before stabbing him 100 times. A few of those pieces of grain fell on the floor and I sent em anyway. If this thing doesn't mold then bad spawn truly is the cause for trich grows. It's not too late to make those holes bigger. He'll get another round of acupuncture when I get home from work.
