Plain as day. Eventually he stopped lying about the deal he was working on in Moscow and started lying about ever saying he had no business interest in Russia

It's possible they paid millions to talk to Joe about fly fishing, but you'll have to forgive me for doubting it.


I couldn't care less if Hunter Biden got paid.  Is there evidence that Joe Biden got paid by a foreign business to influence policy?

I think it’s pretty clear that Hunter was given that job as an attempt to influence his father’s position. Whether he did or didn’t is irrelevant imo.

Hunter Biden can be corrupt without his father being corrupt. If you look at those likely faked emails, There are signs that he was doing this without his fathers knowledge. Fox News has come to the same conclusion.

Irrelevant to what?  Hunter Biden is a grown-ass man.  He can make his own decisions.  If he broke the law, that's on him.  That doesn't make Joe Biden responsible for that crime.  It's highly relevant to Joe Biden's culpability whether Joe Biden played along or not. 

I've seen no evidence he did.  Maybe he did...maybe Joe Biden is a criminal mastermind.  I've seen no evidence that he's even a political mastermind, much less a criminal one.

Koods showed a series of videos of Trump saying he was out of Russia since 26 July (the earliest of the videos).  As far as I know, that's correct.

bodhisatta provided a link of Russian activity from well before the time Trump ran for president.  I'm not doubting that either.

Koods claimed:  "He publicly declared he was not seeking business in Russia when he was."  What business was he seeking and when?

I think it's going to be potentially used as a distraction from the real issues at hand today. Do I think the investigations would get Biden into 'trouble'?  No, he's obviously an untouchable.

Do you really think The Elite want to deal with a pandemic economy and the serious ramifications that come with it?  No.

Since Hunter was given a lot money to leverage Joe's influence, should that be looked into, or ignored?

I agree that Joe's action or inactions matter a great deal but it has now gone beyond what happened when Hunter got contacted by the foreign parties a while ago. Joe has now kind-of denied he knew about these approaches so even if there was no criminality involved this is a major credibility issue if he was in on it. I would not expect a media story to contain court standard evidence of a crime. We were told many times that Trump was going down because of Russia collusion, undeclared election spending etc but it never happened so best leave the legal assessment to courts. In saying that they have Bubbalinski interview (a silly name but at least he is a named source) the email the authenticity of which has not been questioned and a pathetic PR damage control by Joe's people that there is no record of a meeting with the Ukrainian dude in his calendar so it presents at least as credible as Trump's alleged legal troubles.

Just as an aside - if you were falsely alleged to have had a meeting with someone would you issue a statement that your calendar has no record of such a meeting or that you have not met them?

Should Hunter be looked into?  Maybe.  Maybe it already has been.  I have no idea what evidence is out there.  What I've seen so far is very weak, and none of it specifically mentions influence.  Also, it's tricky because it would likely require making deals with co-conspirators which is always dicey business.

I certainly wouldn't object to Hunter being investigated, but it's not likely to be a great way to spend taxpayer dollars since even if a case could be made, Joe Biden would almost certainly pardon his son.

Me, personally, as a lawyer?  I don't know.  It would depend on how long ago this meeting was supposed to have happened.  If I were vice president of the U.S. at the time of the alleged meeting, I would almost certainly rely on the calendar over my memory. 

I'm still at the part of my career where I can remember most of the people I've had meetings with, although maybe not by name.  I seriously doubt anyone could do that as a vice president of the U.S., though.

Let’s be clear, he was seeking a deal in Russia well into the primary campaign. He is lying. The truth would be “I no longer have a business interest in Russia, but I did earlier this year.”

Let's be clear, your video doesn't show him saying anything before 26 July.  Did he still have business dealings with Russia then?

He said, "I know nothing about Russia...I don't deal there."  That was on October 6, 2016.  That's simply not true, though...unless he forgot everything he knew about Russia in the years that he was dealing there.
