I know this is a bit of a taboo topic here, and I'm not actually supporting it myself, I'm just too confused about it but the one thing I haven't seen sold back to us is violence. Anarchist "A"s might be on boardshorts now, but I'd like to see them sell the act of throwing a molotive cocktail at one of their stores.

if im "negative" its only because I believe in your potential to think up new thought forms, new ways of dissecting your condition.

I believe this topic deserves plenty of attention, but nothing new is being produced, and when subversive thought becomes stagnant and repetative, it becomes inneffective.

The unstoppable spread of information and the true picture of the global powersystem and world order as it stands is coming invariably to light for the average person. Soon it will be unavoidable.
Rebel culture is no longer the blindly opposing counterculture, now like all evolving bodies it is absorbing the most valuable developments from the precursor-culture(s) as it branches into more tribalistic sub-cultures. People in all walks of life are feeling this, knowing in their hearts a change to the world order is needed as has never been known, and rejecting their faith in the current political systems. If you are a kid, one way you express yourself is to look as funky as possible, and this dressing up of kids is one tip of that group consciousness iceberg

i uhhh, shit.

i liked the orginal post, was confronted as i am sure the writer was with a challenge by some of the responses, and in finishing the post i had concluded i liked it.

sure shoot the ideas down for being cliche, that is easy, but one thing i like to keep in mind is that ideas in open minds dont go stagnant. i belive ideas grow always. this lad puts forth a rant, and in doing so opens up to the great sounding board the shroomery can be. his idea provoked many views from many people, great to read.

i myself have had very similar lines of thought, and have mostly concluded there is no mass conspiracy, but the social dynamics that have come to be in the west, simply arent conducive to progression.

the sub-cultures are fractals, collections of ideas agreed upon by participants in the given culture. i think this not a bad thing, it sort of hints at mckennas archaic revival, we as a whole have kept ourself ignorant to a great mystery for too long, and now it is important to awaken and attempt to understand the great mystery.

one thing this country (good ole us of a) has done a great job of doing is, limiting the thought process to the immediate, always face value, never question, we are in good hands, yatta yatta yatta.

the whole WAR ON YOUR MINDS statement ment something to me. it resonated a primal scream for experience,and for an empowering of the individual. the revolution has failed, the one point in history revolution seemed to be a means to succeed was the 60's, it was suppressed, a pane of glass dropped on pavement, leaving not a united front, but a billion fractles reflecting and growing.

revolution now has become a choice of the individual. revolt, open your mind, escape cultural conditioning, and spread ideas that bring opportunity, and well being to all that participate in the community.

If I understand you correctly, I think I somewhat agree.
On a mass level, things don't seem to be changing by much. But, most people have a good head on their shoulders once you start probing them. They just don't look at the whole picture...

Yes - Totally, that's it. Awareness is coming into humanity. Everyone knows the truth deep within somewhere. Something is stirring. I believe the networks of this awakening consciousness are growing. Though this may sometimes not appear so on the surface.

everyone always talks about how we all know the truth deep down if we would just open ourselves to it, and i think thats true, but the closest i can come so far to articulating that truth is something like this: Reality is not at all what it seems, Society has been leading us to a dead end for decades if not centuries (if not millenia) and basically weve all got our priorities totally wrong.

If anyone can help clarify for me what this great truth is beyond that, or correct that if you disagree, i would be in your debt. maybe this should be a diffrent thread?

Yes that's basically it. And for me the faith that if we all gave way to freedom we would basically automatically align ourselves like a flock of birds on the wing.
Nature must be legalised for us to be truly natural as a species; and some other changes too. I don't really understand all the how, just that it must be. Just like we don't really know how we came to be here, but we certainly know we are here.

Bringing that back to the thread, well if everyone knows this thing deep within, then we also know we are trapped in some weird refraction right now where human group consciousness has/is trying to lie to itself. It has learnt language, and with that comes the ability to lie. The lie has been virtually exhausted of magnitude and variations now; and it is the vehicle for all the greed and pain flowing on the planet. Deep down people feel it when the world order lies to them, that feeling is rising, the kids feel like they don't fit in. They enter subcultures, they choose ways of dressing to express their feelings. The society gradually moves away from believing what they have been fed all these millenia.
Those clothes aren't available for free, trade exists, but the breakdown of central ideas control begins.

anarchy is not throwing molotov cocktails. Anarchy is the absence of rules. All the great holy men, including the buddah, were anarchists. They all lived in a state of ultimate freedom, known as enlightenment. This is an anarchistic state.
Once people are conscious enough they can live in anarchy without having to throw molitov cocktails at one another. Once one merges oneself with the universe one can truly feel one.

Actually,  anarchy  has several definitions.  Politically-speaking, I'd say that Buddha was an anarchist.

sure, numerous definitions, but im pretty sure that buddha laid out some rules and regulations as to how one undertakes dharma practice.
