Well I ended up buying a 6 pack of 2ft t8 leds, I chose the 2ft so I can strap 2 lights per tub one on each side seeming how the tubs are right around the same size. Hopefully this will do good.

Also I'm wondering if the strength of these depends on how long it consolidated for before fruiting. Several days ago I was reading a thread on this about cubes and was pretty interesting, RR even said he noticed this too but not sure if it was all speculation as I got tired and fell asleep and lost the thread to finish reading.

I think its worth noting though. I do know my tub took forever to fruit so I'm hoping for some potent fruits and stones :rockon:

Well shit I ate an eighth of dried atl7 and over 3 hours no effects maybe a slight body buzz :shrug:

Hm that’s a lot.

The guy that ate my tamps kinda said something similar, he said it seemed kinda weak but had a great buzz to it.

I gotta take these already and figure it out. What got me excited for them a long time ago was reading through the thread people kept saying it was like half shroom half mdma.

About the consolidation thread with cubes, nobody else tried it and reported back if I remember right. It makes sense though cuz all the slower cubes are usually most potent. Plus lots of people have done similar stuff letting stones age.

I just checked my shoe boxes now and 2 out of 3 had the green death, it has started in 1 corner of the boxes.

I've got some small stones from both of them.

Never had sclerotia, will 19g be a intense trip?

Tolerance? If you have dmt layin around im guessing you have a cross tolerance to mushrooms

That said ive noticed some weird stuff w tamp/gal

Huge variation in perceived potency even within same isolate. Like people will take a small dose several days in a row then randomly the same dose of same product floors them. They say about the fruits "some of those sticks are way stronger than the others" . Like aka said, anywhere from same as cubes to 3.5x

But perceived potency is weird, so many factors, and things affect people differently based on genetic factors like enzymes, tolerance, set and setting, etc. So no tellin in terms of quantitative active content

I cant imagine a dose of 3.5g not being at least as strong as a typical 8th of cubes though, without something going wrong in the preparation or your brain chemistry

Hard to say. Potency varries a lot, and some people are floored by 5g of the same stuff id do 20g of + some fruits.

A decent estimate is 5g fresh truffle = 1g dried cube. But it can go pretty far in either direction. So if 4g cubes is normal for you, 20g truffles is about right. Itll at least get you close enough to know how to dose the same batch next time

Yeah ak I was thinking the same thing about that jalisco jar. It’s weird because it was a wedge from a normal mexicana looking like plate of Jalisco. It’s almost like there’s two types of myc in there. But I’m starting to realize that all mexicana strains look a little different. It is parculiar though. I tried to find any images of my other jalisco jars to compare and couldn’t.

And here’s that NewL 8year old mexicana print. I have a bag about 90% and a shoebox I just cased. Now this one here is suspect because it didn’t smell like mexicana at all, I’m expecting a cube to pop up. I suppose there had to be some sort of mix up during those 8 years but it doesn’t matter because I was able to get the actual huautla de jimenez mex and it’s on grain now

Yeah I saw that jar and also figured a mix up had happened but I also don’t know shit about the myc from those varieties.

I finally redid my Jalisco spore plate this morning. First time I had a lot going on and the print was dirty and I didn’t get to it in time, every transfer from it blew up with mold.

Same deal with my atl7 plate. Didn’t touch it after the first grow and mold sporulated. Looks like I managed to get it clean in two transfers though so I’m all ready to run these now that I’ve gotten better at fruiting stone producers.

If you manage to print all those Mexicana I definitely want in! Those big ass chicon fruits are the best.

I gotcha. Do you have any pictures of your jalisco spawn. I’m fairly confident I didn’t mix them up but I suppose it’s possible. I rarely ever do wedges anymore. Only LC but didn’t have the time to make one so I did the wedge. I remember it was only the one jar I did the wedge on from that batch so I dont think it’s possible I could have mixed it up but I have a horrible memory so it’s not impossible.

I never got to spawn unfortunately. I made three t1s and then didn’t touch them for two weeks and all three plus the germ plate had huge mold colonies so I tossed them.

I really want to run the Jalisco though so I’m gonna probably make a half pint of grain ASAP, hopefully by next week if the spores germ quickly.
