ThT makes since I did move them into a mono but still was not seeing much improvement so I’ve moved back into tent nothing else dying but all slow. I have a mini mono comming up and I’m gonna run a full mono (no tray) see if that works better thanks for the input mycory!

Those are good ideas! Keep us posted :laugh:

I have had very little luck getting an additional flush out of a Subtropicales monotub/shoebox that stalled because I had it in a GH for a few days. It seems like that stall is a big deal. If everything is remains ok they should flush several times.

Extremely impressive work with that non-papuana BTW.

I am very interested in how many flushes you get out of it.

Interesting! They do seem to share some features but yours all look much meatier, the lines in the pileus match but the shape def differs

It's a mixture of clay soil, peat and pumice.

Stumbled over some old pics from about twelve years ago.
Psilocybe hoogshagenii var Convexa aka Semperiviva chasing the fresh air in one of my favorite novelty fruiting containers. The Egg. :hehehe:

Yeah it does kind of resemble his work..  :whistling:  So people do remember him. That's pretty cool.
Big monotub, about three inches of perlite. Nothing fancy. He always liked keeping it simple. I'm of the same mind when it comes to simplicity.

I certainly remember him! When I got started I spent nearly a year pulling apart every old post and grow of his on all 3 of the sites he frequented. Most of his Zapo/hoog posts on mycotek I have memorized due to all the times I have referenced them for my own work.

So much of my success is due to his posts, as well as those of Captainfuture and a few others. One day I hope to contact TCO and maybe get some spores so I can say that i'm working with his genetics.... like a fanboi

I miss the old gang. I see that most haven't posted in a few years. Maybe a few are driving new 'cars'. The forums can take their toll on people over time and it's fairly easy to crack if you're already weird.. like most of us are. Well, you all are anyways. I'm the only normal one. :hehehe:
