If you're right, Biden is toast.

Why?  He's not in office.  Nor did he do trump in when in office.  As Trump keeps on attempting to do.

Do the fucking investigation. Whatever. That isn’t the point. Trump needs to be impeached for this. Black and white abuse of power.

How do you not understand that politicians cant use their influence to force investigations of their political enemies. Take it to the FBI. Trump has no business being involved at all. This is banana republic level behavior

So you think Trump should be investigated on suspicion of collusion, but Biden should be left alone on suspicion of corruption?  I agree with your first point - do the fucking investigation.

And Morel Guy was asking why Biden might get in trouble since "he's not in office".  It's because he was V.P. at the time he demanded the prosecutor get fired.

Maybe YOU can tell us what Viktor Shokin did to get fired?  Not a generic answer, a specific one.

I've said many times, I don't think disliking someone gives me the right to make believe things about them, as you clearly do.

Really cause it looks like this Biden issue is make believe. There is no evidence whatsoever that the Obama policy concerning the prosecutor had anything to do with Hunter Bidens business interests. Do you have any evidence connecting the prosecutors work with the gas company?

You seem to trust the NY Times:
Quote:
New details about Hunter Biden’s involvement, and a decision this year by the current Ukrainian prosecutor general to reverse himself and reopen an investigation into Burisma, have pushed the issue back into the spotlight just as the senior Mr. Biden is beginning his 2020 presidential campaign.

They show how Hunter Biden and his American business partners were part of a broad effort by Burisma to bring in well-connected Democrats during a period when the company was facing investigations backed not just by domestic Ukrainian forces but by officials in the Obama administration. Hunter Biden’s work for Burisma prompted concerns among State Department officials at the time that the connection could complicate Vice President Biden’s diplomacy in Ukraine, former officials said.

So the Ukraine reopened an investigation after trump started extorting them to do so. Looks like this was already investigated. Again. This Biden situation has been reported on for five years. It has been investigated. The problem is trump wants Biden under a cloud of suspicion during the election and he’s illegally using the power of the state to do it.

I just show you evidence that the Burisma investigation was "backed not just by domestic Ukrainian forces but by officials in the Obama administration" and that the investigation "prompted concerns among State Department officials at the time that the connection could complicate Vice President Biden’s diplomacy in Ukraine".

And I previously showed you evidence that Biden wanted the lead prosecutor Shokin, who was leading a corruption probe into Burisma Group, fired or he'd withhold $1 billion from Ukraine.

Maybe you can show evidence that an actual investigation actually took place?  Or is that just make believe?

Yes it’s the first paragraph of the NYT article you posted.

You think Biden went rogue? He was conveying an administration policy, not a personal agenda. The Obama administration wanted the corrupt prosecutor before they loaned Ukraine money. Do you have any evidence Biden was behind the policy? The interview you posted demonstrates Biden clearly felt he was tasked with informing the Ukranians of the policy.

At the time Biden went to Ukraine, the investigation into the Gas company had fizzled out and was not active. The government has also stated that the was no pressure from the US to drop any investigations  into the gas company

It seems what Trump did may be.

I don't see it.  Can you quote where it says the investigation was completed?  Or is that make believe?

Source?  Or make believe?  I have to ask because so many of your posts are make believe.

Kinda pointless to show evidence to brainwashed Americans.  They believe in a lot of fairy-tales as evidence.

So withholding money unless they fire the investigator who is investigating your son is ok.  But withholding money so they understand why they fired the investigator investigating corruption is not ok?

As the article I linked mentions: He would dismiss anyone that tried to implement anti-corruption reforms, as well as attempted to prosecute an anti-corruption citizen's group.

Any examples?  Or just "trust me when I say Trump colluded with Russia"?

Another article I previously linked to said:
Quote:
After Shokin was fired, the primary case was “transferred to a different Ukrainian agency, closely aligned with the U.S. Embassy in Kiev, known as the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).” You may recall that many Embassy officials, and their actions as well, were pro-Hillary Clinton.
It should come as no surprise that NABU closed the case.

So, for a period of time, it looked like the Bidens had escaped scrutiny.

NABU was one of the entities that Shokin investigated as a criminal enterprise, actually.

You know, one thing about countries riddled with corruption, is that literally everyone is in on the take. If you're not in on the take, you're not in power. This is something I learned pretty quick in Russia. The question wasn't whether you followed the law, the question was whether you could afford the bribe. Last time I visited my family, I remember seeing a bunch of cameras everywhere. Why were there cameras everywhere? It wasn't security, though that was a side benefit. It was to prevent the road police from taking bribes. (Russia generally has two separate entities--one enforces traffic laws, one does actual police work and chases criminals). Same with government offices and other buildings. Places where I used to pass someone a thousand rubles (~20$) to look the other way I started having to wait in line and shit.

Should Biden be investigated? Absolutely.

Should donald be investigated for kick-starting the investigation? Absolutely.

The fact that everyone is in on the take doesn't mean that the crimes of the former excuse those of the latter.
