It only works in your imagination.

Since when did small nations become developed looking up to and modeling largeer developed nations?

Never!

A nation has to recognize it's own culture and assets.

this ideology also isn't practical since diff states have diff resources, and same applies for diff countries. this is why anti-globalism confuses me, we obvs have to trade but since some people don't like these necessary arrangements and call them a ripoff everyone should just call the whole thing off?

"everybody wants to live in america"

ok this is prob at least somewhat true so shouldn't we try to help model all countries like THE GREATEST COUNTRY ON EARTH?

tho the definitive answer to that would be a resounding NO from many other countries which would consider themselves as somehow "better".

"anti-globalism"

This isn't about not trading, it's about not having a potential world central government.  It's also about not being able to control one's immigration policies.

The current issue with US trade is the massive trade deficit. This deficit exists because other countries use tariffs and currency manipulations to benefit themselves at the US workers expense.

Trump and his supporters want a balance of trade, not no trade at all.  The imbalance of trade is responsible for the massive wealth inequality and stagnant wages in the US.

I can't understand why any US worker would be pro-globalism. Immigration and trade has destroyed the US middle-class.

California’s budget surplus is larger than most state’s entire budgets. We already know which states are successful and republicans refuse to learn

how doesn't this relate more to the way business owners run their companies? the biggest companies' CEO's are making billions while they continue to stiff the working class on liveable wage. seems like it's more about them trying to keep a bigger slice of the pie while shifting blame and stoking hate at the same time.

tho this wouldn't apply as well to smaller businesses so i don't disagree with your point there. world trade relations are undoubtedly very complicated so for the most part we largely rely on having others explain it for us in a simplified way.

as far as a "one world government" goes, it would seem the only problem with the idea is that people running it would be expectedly corrupted, but i see this as more of an issue about people not being able to get on the same page about things and understanding how to see things from a more mutual perspective. if that were the case it should theoretically help to put everyone in better standing, regardless of where they rank in the current multi-faction society.

"safety from invaders" lolz

You sound as though the mongol horde is charging across the great plains, loosing volleys of arrows at you from the saddle.

We've been safe from invaders since the 19th century.

What you are describing is called a confederacy and we tried it already.  It failed miserably because the states didn't want to pay taxes.  What has changed in the intervening couple hundred years to make this model more viable?

Also, why do you hate the constitution?

There is a disconnect here between the 2 questions I asked you and your response to them.

I don't want anything (other than safety from Invaders) from the government and I don't want to give the government much of my money. Paying for state maintenance is enough.

I want the government to get out of business of fixing social issues.

One thing I like from Trump is the repeal of the individual mandate. Also downsizing  government regulations and so forth.

In other words "I don't think billionaires should pay for the things that make my life better; I prefer to live like SHIT!  That's why I support TRUMP!"

I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them.  I also attack my side if I think they're wrong.  People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.

The CEO's love the status quo and are against any potential "trade wars".

This.

Leftists name call. Meanwhile they have their own issues that are destroying the country.

Just remember this.

Whatever happens, the leftists will attack you personally.

Don't worry though!

They allow you to see how normally polite you are.

The left are Adult name callers who want to save the world from racism, global warming, capitalism, and the patriarchy.

Strange, they can't utter a sentence without attacking someone personally.

I can't imagine their ideas and rhetoric will make it far in the US or the world.
